I think Pearson should be applauded for his pricing policy. It's social responsibility. he's doing his best to keep people from having to suffer a trip to Hull.

It isnt punishing the away fans, it is rewarding the home fans.

Also, Wigan run a promotion for Home fans - bring a friend for £1. This isnt open to away supporters, so are Wigan punishing away fans for wanting to being friends to the game??

Not at all – this is a great marketing idea and will hopefully entice more supporters to the ground. Also I don’t feel as if I’ve been stiffed when hearing this.

What your lot are doing is not only making your ground the most expensive in the league but making it the most expensive ground in the league exclusively for away supporters.

I have no problem with some sort of pricing plan that makes is more beneficial for home supporters but I think the price difference with regards to the KC is too great.

My main problem is that whilst I don't begrudge paying extra to watch my team, I do begrudge paying extra at a stadium where I cannot guarantee the safety of myself, my party or my vehicle and that speaks volumes I think.

Wigan have a promotion whereby a [iseason ticket holder[/i can purchase six tickets for £30 (you have to buy six). This can only be done once per season ticket and excludes the Saints and Wire games.

There's 5 of us making the trip over, Can't say we're happy about it costing us 25 quid each. I'd like to think the reason it's 25 quid is becuase we'll get an enjoyable, safe welcome but in reality it's the cod eds at the KFC so we know what to expect. I've got a bad feeling about this wknd not in terms of the game but off the pitch, the cod's seem to have become obsessed with us at the moment plus what happened to the wigan coach two weeks ago something does'nt feel right.

Me too, but the possibility of lots of fans enjoying a day's Saturday drinking prior to the match doesn't fill me with optimism.

I've never had to pay such outrageous prices in any ground to watch a game of rugby league.

It the pricing structure stops Fat Boy from coming then it was all worth it.

I think my principle is quite clear if you read the mixed messages from Hull fans on this thread.

1. Its £23 quid until a few days before the game then its £25 (the same as Wakefuield earlier in the season) thats a rip off when its 319 for home fans.

2. Continuing from 1 and a quote on here the price is to reward home fans (yeah right) nothing to do with increasing revenue because of the terms of the rent you pay on the KC linked to the number of people that attend then?

3. Continuing from 1 and 2 you can go where you like in the ground, so will you be sitting in the cheap seats or the expensive ones and why sell them for £25 if you can sit anywhere, surely both ends should be the same price and down the sides the same although probably more than the ends. As I have said justify the different prices for ale and food in the awaay part compared to the rst of the ground.

4. Thats why I did not attend and will not attend. I have to say its my favourite ground but I will not be held to ransom, it was cheaper to pay on the bus and get a ticket for the London game than the bus and ticket for the KC you are exploiting away support.

While I think the above it wouldn't stop me going. What stops me going to any game involving hull are the fans. I know they ain't all bad but personal experience is not something I want to subject my family

We are don't worry, just don't complain about lack of away fans putting money into your club when the club actively discourages them.

Reward home fans fair enough but don't increase away fans tickets to compensate. It's not our fault you had a crap team the last 3 years.

I won't be going. Shame because I love the whole Borstal corner experience before, during ang after the game but I refuse to pay 25 squid (fish theme geddit?) to get into the KFC this year.

I usually just phone up and reserve tickets for the West Stand. Collect from ticket office or have them posted. It's still £24.00 but at least it's one of the better seats.

Last year the numpty on the turnstile didn't like me wearing a Leeds Shirt. A hull supporter loaned me his jacket and I gave it him back as soon as I got through the turnstile with the steward watching from the other side and the Hull bloke telling him he was a D**k head.!!!

You get a bit of banter from the Hull fans in the stand but I've never had a problem.
