There are generally two sides to any game, offense and defense. You're critique of Sinfield's return appears to concentrate on only one of those two aspects.

I was disappointed that the conversion after the Delaney try was missed. That I would have expected him to make nine times out of ten.

No i don't think he was poor and overall a decent effort after a month out.
I agree re-the kick but he scored a quality try which more than made up for it imo.

Place kicker is one of his many roles he takes within the team and is quite seperate from the others he performs. I don't think you can make up for missing place kicks that a kicker of his quality should land.

There are those you expect him to make and there are those that are a bonus. Landing the one from Lee Smith's first (while well within his ability as he has proved on countless occassions) was still a bonus when it sailed over just as the final conversion missing was not something anyone should critisize him over.

I see yer point and agree to some extent but he scored a quality try and that imo made up for the normally easy kick he missed.

What do you think Kevin Sinfield will have made of his hit, miss, hit, miss night with the boot or conceding an early penalty that led to Bradford's first soft try through the middle or kicking away attacking possession early in the tackle count or throwing a looping pass that said intercept all over it?

I imagine he'd be far less understanding than you appear to be.

While he was speaking in respect of the team's performance it's a team he is rightly at the centre of.

He's one of those players that isn't ashamed to say he's poor by his own standards and most of the squad are the same so what i'd think he'd say is irrellevant to how i think he played.

If you think Sinfield is honest why do you think his after match comments would not be a fair reflection of his and the teams performance and therefore relevant. Do you think you have a better understanding of how he played than he has?

Would you say Keith Senior can be relied upon to be honest in his comments also?

Yet last week you were happy to accuse him of not doing any of the above.

My opinion on how Both played in their respective games doesn't change at all.

So in your view Keith Senior is wrong in his self evaluation?

Is that because he isn't a good judge or is it because (unlike Sinfield) he is being deceitful?

Having played the game mate albeit at a very amateur level and the other code what you see whilst playing isn't always what those on the sidelines see like i say i stand by the opinion i posted and i'm sure Keith will stand by his and hardly lose sleep over what some fan thinks

If you watch Sinfield that off-load is amazing. As he's going to ground he looks left first, then back to the right, then flicks the ball out of the back of the hand to McGuire. All of this as he's heading to the deck in the collision. Stop for a moment and think about what your natural, physical reaction would be in that circumstance. Would you have the awareness to look both ways and ensure the primary focus of your arms was to ensure they were free to pass rather than break your fall?

Exactly, I think I paid Sinfield due credit by describing his pass as "sublime".
You asked what I'd do in the same circumstance, the answer is I would never ever have been in the position to find out.
After running on to the pitch to warm up I'd be throwing up behind the goal line for the rest of the game.
But like everyone else on here I'd be able to tell all of the others what they'd done wrong throughout the entire game.

There are a lot of players who haven't in the past and wouldn't in the fututre (I suspect) make good coaches and some of the better coaches were pretty limited as players.
