We're playing the Bulls in just under 5 hours and the last time the match was discussed on the pre-match thread was Wednesday.

This thread had dropped off page one and there's been very little discussion about the game.

Has it lost its' sparkle? Have people lost interest?

i think the 4 or 5 games a season did that. it wasn't an event anymore. bradford being poor doesn't help either.
however the bulls winning for the first time in ages and it not being on sky should,hopefully, see a 19k+ crowd.
i think it may take a season or two for it to return to being a 'special' game again

May be complacency among us fans thinking that all we have to do is turn up & we'll win due to the Bulls fall from grace.
Let's hope the players aren't in the same frame of mind.

Really disappointed this game isn't on the telly, although the TV game should be a good 'un too.

Slightly is an understatement but Deacons choice to kick was poor cause i don't think it was last play for us.

I don't think slightly was an understatement. In fact I don't think it flattered us at all. Leeds were comfortably the better side and throroughly deserved to win the game. 2 shocking plays defensively gifted you 2 tries and you scored a good 3rd one. Bentham piggybacked you up the field all night long.

For Leeds, Hall, Peacock, Buderus, Ali and Maguire were outstanding. I worry how much we struggled with Peacock and Kylie off though.

our short kicking in the second half was shocking, not only the poor kicks them selves but the decision making. lots of times we would have been much better passing

Discipline continues to be a matter for great concern that will and has cost us games this year.
I don't disagree with the pens against us, after all the ref is far closer to the action than I am but it does seem that we are being judged (prejudged?) on our reputation and our opponents are not subject to the same close scrutiny in the tackle area.
Bluey needs to speak to Cummins about what we are doing that our opponents aren't. Not confrontationally but from genuine concern and in a positive attempt to improve.

Main event was magic - I said to the wife that we looked stronger at sixty minutes and had no doubt we would go on and do the business. Newton was spent by then as were the rest of the Bradford pack. Sam Burgess was knackered after five minutes - he took ages to get off our players after being the third man into the tackle and just flopped through sheer exhaustion! That nasty Bentham penalised him twice for it - how dare he do such a thing to a tired player.....

Have to mention it - thought Jones-Bishops try in the reserve game was magic - what handling and quick passing between three players and he was off!

Whilst on, are we really that bad disciplinary wise? I thought that for every time we had a set of six, Bradford were offside for three sometimes four and five of those tackles. I know people will say that I am moaning but I do feel that the referees penalise us unjustly. Perhaps it is a "You are champions and you should know better" mentality......

Having said that we did make some howlers last night....... A decent team would have put us to the sword, thank goodness it was only the Bulls!!
