not the best but good and does have some stand out games. has got better in the last few years. This has been down to:
- High quality conditioning
- very high quality man management, Griff can be high maintainance.
- Smart tactical utilisation by Brown / Anderson
if Brian Mac / Lowes have man management and tactical skills equal to or better than Nathan Brown you will have a good signing. If not you may have troubles ahead. |

there is a lot of speculation going on now about plaers definately going and some maybe going,and who will be coming .I wonder if GH could spring a surprise and also bring in a new coaching setup,because this season we dont even look like we are in transition just a team going nowhere,but downhill |

Griffin will be a solid signing, but as I've said before, will come at a premium in salary terms due to his England selection last year which wasn't entirely justified IMO based on his performances in Australia. He will be better than most of our props on current form I suspect, but I'm not sure if he's exactly what Leeds need MOST in the forwards right now. I'd like us to sign a player in the mould of Eastwood who is able to change a game through a barnstorming run & off-load or a big hit. Lauitiiti used to provide this but none of the current forwards seem capable of doing it on a consistent basis. An encouraging signing in some respects but hopefully this will not be the pinnacle of recruitment for next year...
