It wasn't massively publicised at the time but IIRC it was a season ending problem for McShane.

I maybe looking at this logically (god forbid on here), but if buderus has been given an estimated cast-on time of 6 weeks, what is the issue? there are 5 rounds left of the regular season (5 weeks) and between those there is the Challenge Cup Semi Finals weekend and Final weekend, (2 weeks). Now i'm not a mathematical genius, but that makes 7 weeks before the extended play-offs system. The cast comes off after the bone is healed, and then it is all about the players confidence and the clubs' physio and rehab team.

I expect to see Buderus play a key role in our push for honous at the end of the season.

I personally find attacks on my intelligence significantly worse than name calling however as you think keeping ones place in the Leeds side revolves around clapping your hands any saying "come on chaps" its hard to judge what you find OTT.

I think you will find that I recognise that there is more to keeping one's place in the team that clapping hands etc. Its a shame that you cannot show me enough respect though to be able to recognise that women can have opinions about rugby as well.

It was against Wigan at home. Although JJB was named at hooker i don't think he got to dummy half more than twice during the whole game. Whoever was nearest the play the ball wen't to dummy half - that seemed to be the tactics.

That game will go down in my memory as the only game this season where we played well for 80 minutes, i can count on one hand the other games where we have played well - but only for one half.

You're right about it being Wigan, but as I remember it, we played well first half, but not so great in the second.

My opinion on this is that DB is one of the key players in the side, and is one of those players that it is an honour to watch. He was class apart in the 30th minute, and no surprise that Wigan gopt back into the game once he went off.

He has had 2 injuries this season, neither of which I see as a sign of an injury hit player, more injuries that are part of the game.

Not sure we will see him at the end of the season, but you never know.

I reckon the lad's season is over myself.

Unless he's a freakishly fast healer, for a simple closed fracture you'd be expecting around a 10 week recovery time. In any case, even if he kept himself fairly fit, he'd be well short of the neccessary match fitness.

I just hope Bluey doesn't have the same brain fart, as Smith did with Senior down at Cardiff about 4 seasons ago.

That's a standard recovery though they use different techniques to help healing now like the hyperbaric chamber.
Whatever the end outcome i'm sure they'll work overtime to get him ready for the play-offs!
