Yeah looking that way. Bookies make Farke strong favourite now. I’m ok with Farke if that’s the case. Plays good attacking football that’s possession based. Knows the country and leagues very well. Good record with Norwich.

Fingers crossed it`s Rodgers or Potter.
That would send out a statement and would presumably attract better players to the club albeit in the Championship.
When you think we are likely to bring in near to 100 million in sales at least and if the investment of 50/70 million goes into the pot. Then that`s a hefty amount of money to spend on players coming in.

I'm surprised they've not interviewed Potter.. or at least sounded him out.. he's not even been mentioned. Can't understand why it needs to be dragged into next week... unless it's because of negotiations with WBA for approaching Corberan. Farke is available now. Agreed on Parker, he's done pretty well at Championship level but soon gets found out. Transfer window has opened and the new manager will want to asses and speak with who he wants to stay etc then draft up transfer targets....... the clock is ticking very loudly !

Not too happy with any of those 3 but I guess that`s where we are at.
Potter must be the one if we can convince him he`s got the money to spend.
But he will have suitors from the PL and depends where he sees himself.

Nick Hammond appointed as DOF on short term basis. He brought in likes of Trippier, Gumaires etc at Newcastle when they got bought.

Be happy for him to be our DOF long term.
I wouldn`t worry too much about getting off to a good start.
I don`t think Burnley did anything in their first 4 games and still won the league by plenty.

Yeah he'd be a good long term appointment wouldn't he. He did similar short term job at Newcastle apparently. It's a good sign this though, very sensible start.
