By the way who was it that passed from a PTB behind Hall and gave Wigan a scoring chance in the 2nd half? Was it Diskin or was it Buderus?'"
That was Diskin..... why do you ask.
Buderus was very influential on Sunday. Being in position for Eastwood's offload started the Leeds recovery, great awareness by both world class players. The ground he covered to even get in support and the effort to almost force his way over on the play prior to Hall's try (prompting Hemmings to rightly credit Wigan's defence, they had to work to keep him out.) The service to Sinfield to enable the match winning score.
Without Buderus I doubt Leeds would have found a way back into a game they were being overrun in early doors.

Thank you DHM.
It seems I am being accused of an agenda but those answering my question fail to explain Buderus' major influence on the game and simply bag Diskin. Those with an agenda are making it all too obvious.
All I need is a simple explanation of why he was a major influence because, IMO, he wasn't. In fact, the majority of his input was negative, as I have highlighted.
It's not me slating Buderus to say he wasn't a major influence. It's simply a reflection of his actual performance. The major influences being Webb, Eastwood, McGuire and Burrow.
What can't his fanboys simply, and objectively, recognise that?

All you had to do was look at the last post before posting this. But you chose to ignore it, as tvoc put something better than anybody else, that even anyone with an agenda could not dissagree with.

Thank you TVOC.
You manage to state you opinion on Buderus' influence without resorting to any anti Diskin agenda.
I don't necessarily agree with your opinion on Buderus' influence but you have managed to answer what was a relatively simple question. I don't think he did anything Sunday that will be sorely missed when we next play (if he's banned) or that his replacement isn't capable of. After all, his replacement knows his way to the line in big games.
IMO, it was the introduction of Eastwood that enabled Leeds to find their way back into that game, nothing Buderus did.

You're right, he is.
Diskin has done very well for Leeds over the years, but Buderus is clearly a better player.

I know, I was getting there (see above)
If it's all the same to you, I will disagree with it (TVOCs post) and I'll respond to posts in any order I choose.
Oh, and all you had to do was answer in the manner DHM and TVOC did rather than furthering your own petty agenda and the discussion would have taken a much higher road.
HTH.

I wouldn't disagree.
Like most weeks there's usually three or four player with a much larger influence on the outcome of our matches than Buderus. That comment will infuriate his fanboys but i can't help it. It's entirely factual.

That's fine, but then in future you should refrain from posting a sentence like this.
Quote ="G1"All I need is a simple explanation of why he was a major influence'"
Quote ="G1"Oh, and all you had to do was answer in the manner DHM and TVOC did rather than furthering your own petty agenda and the discussion would have taken a much higher road.'"
Which is why I said this
Quote ="Gotcha"as tvoc put something better than anybody else'"
And I don't have no agenda. I only comment on what's happened the previous game or a succession if it is consistent. Unlike you I don't start threads and wade in with my size 10's just to have a go at individual players.
You had a perfectly reasonable response from tvoc which you accept was reasonable. The fact you dissagree is your problem. It doesn't need me to point out any petty agenda's, everyone works that out for themselves.

But this is Gareth's agenda, this is what he is niggling at - Gareth cannot do with "over paid imports" for one and really high quality players for two.
Gareth hates flash Harry's who can do brilliant stuff with ease - he much prefers someone who makes the most of his ability even though it isn't top quality.
Herein lies the Buderus problem for Gareth, by any objective notion Buderus adds value to any side simply because of his ability - but that grates at Gareth, something he finds very difficult to compartmentalise so he continues he tirade against Buderus.
Only someone with an agenda would even attempt at a comparison of the career achievements of Diskin and Buderus. To suggest Buderus can never be compared to Diskin until he has achieved what Diskin has in the inferior ESL defies most people's logic.
Most just admire what a great player Buderus is and how fortunate we are as supporters to be able to watch one of the greatest players of the last 20 years on a weekly basis - but not Gareth?

I'm suprised to be honest, i didn't expect a ban from the RFL with the playoffs underway unless it was so bad they didn't have a choice. I'd expect an appeal.
It was on of those boarderline ones for me. Dangerous without a doubt but i don't think it was intended.

| He'll appeal and get it wiped out on the basis that it was out of character, he has a good disciplinary record and he showed remorse at the time. Shouldn't be a problem.

I have been a fan (not fanboy as you put it) of Diskin throughout his career but know recognise that we have in Buderus a far better hooker. I know Diskin will not let us down and wish himm all the best in the semi.

| WHAT OF LOAD OF BALLS!
Fooking disgrace. Absolutely nonsense from the rfl. How many of those do we see every week? I remember one at Headingley not so long back on a Leeds player (think it was Disko) ...it was a shocking tackle, a hell of a lot worse than Bedsys, yet sweet fa was done about it.
What about the spear tackle on Eastwood? Eastwood went vertical and then some, nothing for that.
Well done,

He hasn't even been Leeds best player for the last two years.
Did you drool over Andy Gregory's Leeds career, given what he'd done before he came to Leeds?
I wish I had witnessed Buderus when he was one of the greatest players in the game (actually I did when he came over with Aus) because the Buderus at leeds has been far, far removed from that.
