I won't be calling for a change in the coaching staff yet, but the question marks are getting bigger every week. We completely lack structure, and a game plan based on offloads only works when you are going forwards, so the other teams defence is not organised.

If BMD is asking the players to play a style that they cannot, who is to blame?

Unless something goes seriously wrong McDermott will be here for the season and probably longer.

If there isn't a massive clear out at the end of the season then the club risks a Bradford-style fall to obscurity the coach can only the squad the club provide and the current squad is simply not good enough.

Why GH employed Lowes who knows but I bet he will not be here next season

Something that hasnt seemed to be considered by you Leeds fans so far is..................do the players want to play for him?...He didnt exactly have good man management with our squad and staff during his years here in the smoke..Stories of players being unable to speak their mind without being shipped out and in some cases Macs show of "who's boss" could be described as outright bullying....Just a thought to ponder on ......

Nothing wrong with being a hard coach. It's more the tactics that are the problem.

Maybe they have just all contracted foot and mouth disease after that pre-season on the farm. A quick culling should do the trick or failing that how about a quick Cullen for Leeds Coach?

I would think that GH has only so much patience, and the style of rugby on show at Headingley is to no ones taste.

Unless there are major changes in short order, a P45 for BMD and Jimmy Lowe wouldn't surprise me.We're about to spend £10 million on ground improvements, and you need a successful team to help generate the revenue to repay this fairly significant investment, not the crap we have seen so far.

However, it begs the question....which coach would actually be tempted to come to Headingley and pick up a rather dodgy chalice?

16,034 means that BMD is not under any pressure at all. Realistically he should be given at least this season to work with the squad, but we do need to keep an eye on next year too and unless performances improve dramatically, then we may need to look for another coach for then and GH will have to admit defeat if we do.

Completely agree re-give Bri Mc at least this season.
In terms of next season should he be allowed to "sign/release" and build HIS own squad and be given the chance to coach them?
I personally would unless we get everyone fit this year and are complete and utter shiiitee which i don't think will happen btw.

If he is given the chance to build his own team expect lots of 2nd rowers who can cover in the centres and a team that plays at one speed- Enjoy him as your coach- he is long forgotten in the smoke

That is the difficulty as in a ideal world he should be given a fair chance but we need to balance that with looking for replacement. If we give him a chance till end of season and then decide we need a good coach our options will be limited.

I don't actually think it's that dodgy a chalice. If we carry on like we have thus far any coach who can bring any sort of structure would be most welcome.

A bit of a worry is I have not spoke to one quinns fan who has anything good to say about mac which is a bit worry

And I will be surprised if you do find one ! Our regret is that he didn't go sooner.
