That attitude really worries me. Aren't we taught to respect the referees when we are younger? Not just tolerating, but accepting an outburst like that completely goes against all the 'respect' that people say we have in our game.

Its not something i want to see in the game but if refs are going to keep making monumental feck ups then players need to let them know they are doing so, because the inconsistant reffing is making our game become more of a circus.

And yes i do think the chelsea players were right because the ref had a shocker and chelsea were hard done to, although i do think drogba went to far with it.

Calderwood didnt abuse him he was only trying to get the ref to check with the video ref, he never called him any names or actually swore directly at him.

Honestly if a leeds player did it at the kc and he had a case to argue i wouldnt care one bit, because i actually think some refs need to be told how rubbish they are doing because the standard of reffing in the SL is a joke

What unmitigated garbage. The way to deal with incompetent officials is to complain or raise the matter privately with the referees controller.
Arguing on the pitch will never make the referee change his mind & all it does is wind up your own team to its detriment.
Players need to concentrate on their own game & the things that they can control & influence.
Refs will make HONEST mistakes.
Goodness knows players make enough errors in a game far more than the officials, get that bit right then & only then may they have the right to criticise the officials.
Given the speed at times of our game I'm amazed they don't make more mistakes.How often do we complain at the game then go home watch it on TV & see that the ref was right?

There is no place for chasing and remonstrating with referees in rugby league, never has been and hopefully never will be.

Calderwood isn't alone in this so it would be wrong to isolate him as the only culprit though.

No way Keith can be held responsible for changing direction and blocking Calderwood, clearly as the rate of Keith's hair growth being 12% greater on the left side compared to the right weight disribution clearly caused a swerve uncontrollable to the upper cortex of keith's brain.

Baldness remarks have been made with regard to both Senior and Calderwood on this thread (although Senior can't complain). I can't believe nobody has mentioned Gareth Raynors half bald head. With his new stylish "braides" his hairline goes from ear to ear in a total straight line over his head.

If this is the case then why was Joe Westerman not effected earlier on in the season when he sported a "stylish Cas" hairstyle with the hair one side of his head being short but the other over his ears.
