I'd have liked to have seen Chase at the club. He'd be incredible if he were to play behind a dominant pack every week (although our pack is what needs work). Can't see GH forking out in excess of £300,000 for him though

Close Chase down and he gets frustrated and/or disappears. Featherstone worked him out as have a few others this year. He also likes to lead a bit of a wild lifestyle away from Rugby. Leeds would be best staying away from him. You have a quality U20 team. Maybe be best to look their first and give them a go before the season is finished. Leeds are in a rebuilding stage and maybe now is the time to use the youngsters more as some of your more experienced players have done nothing to earn a shirt from the TV games I have seen recently.

I think it's pretty obvious GH is not even going to pretend to invest in any WORTHWHILE external signing.. The least the club could do is show more faith and investment in " the kids " by promoting them NOW.

By the season's end the likes of Keinhorst/Chisholm/Ward/Singleton/Hood/Amor/Daniel Smith ( and McShane maybe ) could be / should be regulars.

TBH I think with Ward & Burrow we have a perfectly good HB combination for a few years....the key is up front, and we need someone upstairs to make the tough decisions on player retainment & recruitment. The brave decision (not saying the right one) would be to let Peacock, Sinfield, McGuire & Leuluai go.

Not Chase.......Because he isn't Quality.

I'm all for promoting the kids, but Peacock,Sinfield and Leuluai are still valuable enough IMO to keep in the squad as back up, or as impact game changers off the bench....IF, that is, they can all be kept under the cap.

If not, then yes, let the older generation go. The younger generation should [ualways [/uIMO be priority.

The main problem recently in the playing staff has been the over use of Sinfield and Peacock with no rotation....and that is down to the guy that makes the selections. Over to you 'Brian'.

McGuire would be my starting half back next to Ward.

Burrow on the bench for me as that damn good impact dummy half.
