| Words fail me, we some how won fair enough, but is there nothing that can be done to persuade Rhyse to stick with us next season? He's the only 1 who showed up for us today, I hope Brad absolutely berates the rest of them!

| Sadly, a really predictable performance. The one positive for me is that this kind of weak minded rubbish just brings the need for a wholesale injection of quality into a laser focus. Hopefully, Blease can free up the required amount of space under the cap and the board dig deep ( again) to provide Arthur with players of the drive, talent and application to banish these pretty regular embarrassments.

| At the risk of repeating myself, the lack of professionalism in this group is astounding.
Every single time they have a good win, they follow it up with rubbish like that...think they've cracked it, playing a lower team, they think they just have to turn up.
They're clearly not the brightest bunch, but you would hope they would have learned by now, they love a sound bite about learning lessons every time they're sh*te, but never actually do
Disgraceful effort today, and totally predictable

| Really poor today and the worst performance yet under Brad. I was interested to read in the transfer rumour thread that Brad also wants to change the back line never mind just the forwards. On this performance, that would be completely justified. Fusitua for a big bloke offers no punch, Momorovski for an established NRL centre has been a let down and as for Newman he has had a shocking season. I for one thought he just needed to stay clear of injury, but now that he has done that, his performance levels are nowhere near where they should be. I thought a couple of big forwards would solve our current issues next season, but realistically it needs more than that. Hopefully Brad and Blease can have some honest conversations with some contracted players to free up the cap we really do need.

| I was going to say we probably have the worse 2 centres for a top 6 club then realised we are not even in that category.
Newman is by far the worse of the two and that`s saying something.
Miller and Bentley the only 2 with any credit today.
For all the Bentley bashing I reckon we lose that game without him.
He seemed to be tackling everyone at one stage.
Move him to LF and put Smith as a meandering prop who might have an offload in him.
Next season try and get rid of Sangare, Momorovski, Newman, Goudemand, and Ackers if he doesn`t start showing some proper hooking skills, even Leeming and Dwyer look better than him.
As far as leadership goes you could see the London players trying to motivate each other at the start of GP whereas we all stood there looking clueless.
If I were BA I`d be asking if the ink had dried on the contract he signed and look to head back home.

| Sangare was subbed around the 15 minute mark and didn't return until extra time. That may be poor even by his standards but surely we can't carry a prop doing such short stints going into next year. Bentley despite picking up an injury did far more minutes than that.
One small positive, at least I have a player capable of nailing a drop goal.

| As all have said - that was woeful. How can players constantly drop / lose the ball in one game. There has to be a real clear out at the season end , but the big worry is those on the way out ie Fusi , Sangare, etc will have no one willing to take them on , as they are so poor.
What we do with Newman is anybodys guess , but he must be on big money , and is doing absolutely nothing either in attack or defence.
BA has a massive job on his hands, but as per his interviews at the end of games , he calls it as it is, and he has been watching the same game as us , not like the he succeeded.

I get that people think that Newman is offering little at the moment, but Arthur has been at pains to point out - he is playing "busted." Just how busted is anybodies guess, but I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt until next year. If he was sitting these games out he'd be called "biscuit bones" or "soft" by the regular armchair men of steel.

| Newman offered nothing today. My worry is he is not a team player. He wants all the glory himself. He had the opportunity to put his winger n for certain score but kept hold of the ball as he has done in other games. He needs a good talking to and dropping if he can’t change his game and attitude.

| Positives are that we won, so the season lingers on, and Arthur has seen how truly awful we can be. We were lucky to beat London and probably only would have beaten Hull out of the rest of SL on that performance. Just poor all round from most players. Still cannot see Cam Smith working as a prop. I'd rather keep Donaldson if that was his role.

| It would have been better to have lost that game for everyone’s sake yesterday. We can’t keep on kidding ourselves there’s the foundations of a successful team currently down at Headingley. This mini revival is built on sand. I don’t know if the big smiles and hand shakes amongst Arthur and the coaching team after the game were sheer relief or delusion, and I wonder as they all sat chatting with Blease in the stand afterwards if the words “were gonna be f#**ed without Rhyse” were uttered, but mentally I think we need to start preparing ourselves for the worst next season if we are prepared to keep the majority of those on show yesterday. I might have felt sorry for London if they hadn’t been so disrespectful with the state of that pitch. The viewing experience was bad enough without having to work out which markings were for football and which were for Rugby League. The contempt shown towards our sport is unbelievable at times, but surely we can help ourselves by telling the grounds man to spend 10 minutes covering the unnecessary and confusing football markings for everyone’s sake. Can you imagine Wimbledon F.C playing a game with half the R.L markings left on the field ? For one I think they would have more pride and I think it would probably be deemed illegal by the F.A. The RFL doesn’t help the game one bit with such poor standards demeaning the game.

| If that was elite rugby league then the standard is worse than at any point during the SL era. As FT professional players the team should be embarrassed. Their fitness is so poor - have were blowing after 20 minutes - London looked the fitter side and a big chunk are part time.
Some significant changes will be needed if this team is to be challenging for the top 4 next season. The NRL goes from strength to strength yet SL continues to regress every season - why?

Completely agree - for a marquee signing Croft has been very poor. Yes the pack is terrible but he offers very little when he has the opportunity. He doesn't look happy perhaps a change of club would perhaps be a good move all round.
Newman - just looks totally disinterested, perhaps carrying an ego that big is wearing him out. He is offering nothing and isn't supporting the young winger outside him - embarrassing.
Martin and maybe Bentley are the only above average players in that squad. To turn this around is going to take some significant surgery from Blease and Arthur.

You simply can’t compare the NRL to SL, they operate in totally different markets, The NRL is the biggest sport in town, it has money and coverage we could only dream of, so in turn they get the pick of the athletes in their country.
That’s the ‘why’.

Croft has had a few poor games after some personal issues but he hasn’t been poor, he is part of the solution not the problem.

I disagree - as a marquee signing he should be leading by example - I have seldom seen this since he joined Leeds. As I said the pack is poor but he hasn't shown much either. You can count on less than fingers on hand the high quality performances he has put in.

I think you misunderstand - through the SL era we have developed numerous local star players. The standard of the homegrown talent is nowhere near where it once was. Where are the players of the quality of Sculthorpe, Harris' McGuire, Sinfield, Burgess, Farrell etc?
Given the core of every team is made up of British players the lack of quality here that is the main reason SL is the dogs dinner it is. Why are these players so poor and so unfit?

We only had 5 British players in that starting line up yesterday, the other 8 were overseas players. You would have to say the overall standard of the overseas players we have is pretty poor. I still can’t work out how we ended up with a long haired foreign exchange student playing centre for us. Is the real Momorovski locked up in a shed in Wollongong or somewhere ? One things for sure, if I was Brad Arthur I’d be escorting him to the front door of a Turkish barber to get that stupid hair cut sorted. He spends more time f**##g about with his hair than catching a ball right in front of his face.

| It's so weird to see whenever we lose (or even win, but not as convincingly as normal) just how much of the posters on here hate our own players.
I'm all for a good discussion, and players aren't beyond criticism at all, but some of the posts are embarrassing.
Didn't manage to watch the game, but sounds like we've massively rode our luck, which we've not had much of this season. Saw BA on the behind the scenes footage say let's put this one to bed and move on. Hopeful we'll perform better against Hull and keep our push for the play-offs on track!
