We just need to get the balance right of building his confidence without breaking him again. He’ll be like a new man after a full pre-season if he goes into it in good nick.
Obviously not seen the performance yet but have to give a shout out to Agar here for the positive attitude coming out of camp for this one. He looks more relaxed somehow too, with the clarity over his role going forward.
We may not win tonight but we should have a good dig.

I don’t think he should tour or play, honestly. It’s nice for him to be selected but GB are good for the back row anyway. Ward needs more time to get physically and mentally right and then rip in next year. |
