What’s the parking situation at odsal?

If we get knocked out by Bradford will it spell the end of Furner and the average player recruitment policy?

Since Furner was appointed we've signed two marquee players and a pretty solid NRL prop. Donaldson is effectively on a 1-year trial, and Albert just became available through unforeseen circumstances. Pretty much everyone else was signed before Furner arrived, so I'd say we've already changed our recruitment policy quite considerably.

But Furner has gone.
Now get rid of some of the trash he had to work with.

We shall see just how much trash is in the squad over the next few months...

We have to move on both the dross and any nappy-wearing sulkers as soon as contracts allow. In some ways the deliberate wasters are worse - they are stealing a living and they must be an awful dressing-room influence. At least rubbish players might be trying their best.

Now explain how you can just 'get rid' of contracted players easily? We are stuck with our current squad for the remainder of the season, FWIW I think this squad is more than capable of being at least mid table.

As aluded to, it's a good test for some of the players to now prove they aren't dross, they have absolutely nowhere to hide

We used to have an arrangement where you could park on the footy pitches over the road from the stadium next to the Richard Dunn Centre but I'm not sure this is in operation now.

I'd recommend some on street parking. Rooley Lane or Staithgate Lane are decent spots. Just watch out for yellow lines, access only and driveways.

Probably as strong a side as we could have put out, which says something.

If we are still making Golding available for transfer its pointless including him.

Why? If he is up for being shipped out surely we need him in the shop window, hopefully at his best to get the most value back. If he isnt being transfered out then will need some game time. Either way his inclusion against a lower division side shouldn't have much read in to it either way

Also he'll know as soon as Walker is fit he's out again.

They need confidence & to prove a point if we'd have won our last 2 there would have been more changes.

he should be dropped, not doing anywhere near enough at the moment, well down the pecking order when everyone fit, Holroyd if fit ahead of him as well.

I could see Watkins doing part of the game at second row, with Smith the only natural back rower in the squad from the 19, I'd like us to go with.
