What was the attendance when you played Donny, Barrow are bringing about 15 coaches so with cars I would expect there to be about 1000 fans attending, hopefully there will be a good home support which will result in a good pay day for Barrow.

What position is he? Is he any good?

Very good, would have played weeks back had he not got an injury in U19s. Can play centre or second row. Already signed a full time deal with the club.

That`s great news as I have heard a lot of good things about this lad.
Hopefully if we can keep all our "promising" youngsters together over the next few years we could have a similar outcome to the Sinfield era.
The worry is some of these kids will go where the money is and won`t stay at Leeds.

I would leave out one of either Delaney/JJB and Hall/Briscoe.
Such a shame as I was hoping all 4 loaned to Bradford would have played on Sunday.

I think Briscoe has/had a slight knee issue this week but maybe not enough to rule him out. Might be why Hall is back in whereas Watkins has got the week off after England duty.

The way they've worded the squad announcement with regards to Alex Sutcliffe suggests he won't play...."he's drafted into the squad for match day experience". Usually they'd write that "he's in line to/could make his debut"

Whats happened to Jack Walker? He showed more attacking ability in his game against Hudds than Golding has all season. Too young and not as strong defensively?

PS: - That is nothing against Golding who has tried hard and done very well defensively.

Perhaps felt that they needed some consistency going into a tough game v cas next weekend, especially after the rest last time v doncaster didn't seem to do them any favours.

Other 3 are very close to call. Cas away to Hull is a big ask for them too considering they lost there recently with a man advantage for 60 mins.

Wire/Wigan depends really on what shape Wigan are in injury wise by the time of the game and great opportunity to either Salford or Wakey to get a semi final spot.

Can't imagine it'd achieve much unless they were going to get more games imminently. How long would the experience stay with the youngsters and how long would their performances remain in the minds of the coaches? To my mind better to rehe a few moves and improve cohesion between some of the players that will have important roles to play.

To be fair, Barrow are CC1 and the dual reg lads are getting better experience than this week on week anyway playing in the Championship. Would it impress you to see them tearing up Barrow at home anyway, it wouldn't mean they could hack SL just because they were doing it in a Leeds shirt would it?

Magsy ,Burrow and JJB will be thinking about maybe one last trophy

In a couple of weeks the coach will be moaning about too many games in a short period. To add to that we have another cup round that a lot of other super league sides don't have and have week off. To add to that, we at supposedly in transition, and about to seperate from further established players for next season. Surely you need players ready, if not fully physically, definitely mentally? We had an opportunity to aid the medium to long term so much. That score line today was always going to happen, it was a division one team.

Surely the mental preparation for a cup tie is far greater? A much better experience to learn. So yes, I would have rather seen how they react to the pressure, than a training session for established players.

Personally think hes made the right call, cas are obviously the best side in the comp at the minute and getting some cohesion going into that game is their best opportunity to get a performance that would raise and consolidate some confidence. Whos to say how they will perform but if they came up with a Huddersfield type performance on the back of resting players the doncaster experience would no doubt be highlighted.
