| Quote ="SecondRowSaint"I think that's always the case with Sky, most of the time they only ever seem to mention one team's injuries during the game, regardless of who's playing.
I wouldn't say we are favourites, i'd say you are marginally and i'd back you by <6. It's more to do with how you're playing and the fact that you're unbeaten in a while, whereas we've just won our first in 4 games, so I don't feel as confident as if we'd won that amount in a row.'"
At Headingley I'd fancy Leeds, but our record at Saints away has been pretty dire over the years with some quite heavy defeats thrown in for good measure. A 50/50 for me.

| Quote ="Gotcha"I agree. However, I was speaking to Paul Anderson on Tuesday night, and he was scathing at getting beat by Saints at the weekend. Could not understand how Huddersfield lost, and said Saints were no great shakes.'"
It was dreadful conditions, we lost another player (and sub) in the first half and had to reshuffle the backs (LMS at centre), we were switching halves during the game as Walsh started in the bench, we played ten minutes a man down.
Anderson is right that they should have beaten us and that it was a terrible game, but I wouldn't read too much into it as regards tomorrow.

Golding scored winning try. Well Jordan Lilley's touchline conversion did. Please for the love of god don't play Keinhorst againast Saints. I'd rather have Moon there..... Or any winger in Superleague. Is it too late to get Tom Johnstone on loan from Wakefield, as he seemed to fall out of their 19 man squad despite them getting hammered 80 Nil.

| Like the look of that line up.I can see the sense in not going with 2 rookie wings at Saints.Big pack with plenty of game changing options from the bench too.

Yeah I like the look of Moon and Watkins vs Turner and a rookie in Fleming. I'd expect Watkins and Moon to alternate when I'm the opposition half anyway so think he'll still see some ball in the centre position IMO.
Obviously the Sinfiel made headlines. But quite straightforward, have more meat in the middle at the start with Singleton at Loose and bring Sinfieldon after 20/25 mins.

| Aside from my own team, I have to say that enjoy watching Leeds. Your attacking play is so fluid. Your a really impressive side this season.

Played fantastic. Was about to say we need to get Singleton and Aiton back on, but then we got the fifth try
Sutcliffe coming of age.

| I was about to say Leeds need to be careful because Saints were starting to edge their way back into it, then Saints' terrible backs come up with another piece of magic to let Leeds wrestle back the ascendancy just before half time.
One negative though is that once Aiton went off our defense started to wane, resulting in Saints' try, I hope McDermott doesn't wait too long to bring him back on.

He has. Think he's playing centre this second half though.

true but Saints were always going to come out and throw everything at us after being humiliated in the first half.

| Pleased with that, obviously. Thought we got caught out a few too many times on the outside, but we stood up well as Saints chased the match. We were one score from killing the game for the longest time. Once it came, that was that.

| Well that was better than I'm sure even the most positive Leeds fan would've expected. We were superb in the first half, ruthless and professional. As soon as Aiton went off though Saints came back into it, and I really hope we don't go with 4 halves in the 17 too often. Our defense really suffered when we had all of them on the field at the same time.
Individually, I thought Peacock and Stevie Ward were superb, if there's a better back row in the comp than this lad this season I haven't seen him. Sutcliffe and McGuire combined really well.
I suppose the biggest positive is we have won without some of our best players missing and we have a lot of improvement in us. We'll need to improve because Saints will be a tougher proposition with Walsh starting.

| Even though Aiton going effected us a bit I think the major change was Walsh coming on for Saints. In the 2nd half we tried playing like we did in the first half and were perhaps guilty of being too confident as the lead built....but he transformed them both playing wise and attitudes upped along with it so we kinda got caught a bit when they upped their game. We eventually knuckled down and realised it though and saw it through.
From 1-13 thought everyone was terrific and Sinfield played a part from the bench. Yates and Burrow again limited and still don't care for Achurch playing in the middle, the sooner JJB is back then the better.

| Fantastic team who play rugby league the right way. I only wish we had one outside back on the same level as Joel Moon let alone Watkins, Hall, Hardaker and Briscoe.
You embarrased us tonight, well played

You can feel more confident we will win the more tvoc keeps predicting against Leeds.
Thought the whole team were very good with Ward and JP outstanding and Aiton, Sutcliffe, Moon and Handley excellent. Another good preparation and game plan from Brian Mac who deserves credit for our impressive opening performance having now played all the teams once with just one loss and 6 points clear.

LOL I've noticed that too, he'd probably be top of the prediction league right now if he accepted it isn't May 2011 anymore and stopped throwing darts at pictures of Brian McDermott.
