I'd agree with all that. Also Leeds have lost that pre SL arrogance they once had IMO. I often remember Leeds splashing the cash every close season bringing in a raft of new signings from Australia, Rugby Union or other RL clubs and the media lapping it up. "Watch out Wigan!" was the gist of many headlines and the fans leapt on the bandwagon. The rest of the clubs in Yorkshire were often dismissed as also rans. When Northern then went on to dish out some physical (and often brutal) thrashings to the flash Loiners it was most enjoyable.

Since Leeds started bringing their own players through that element disappeared. Hopefully it'll be back once the likes of Sinfield/Burrow/McGuire/JJB/Bailey/Hall/ all retire and Leeds go back to wasting money on dubious signings







Funnily enough Cas vs Leeds reminds me of the Northern Vs Leeds games of the past as Cas fans with an inferiority complex see the game as far more important to them than it is to Leeds. So to Cas fans it is Boca Juniors vs River Plate.

And the good guys won again this year. Shame that's all we have won.
