| here we go again, look if you want to moan then moan about the price of petrol getting there thats a joke
But a match ticket if bought through your club is £22 whats a coupe of quid, we have to pay £20 to watch at headingley with no cover from the rain, or £30 in your carneige stand for the same view as the north stand at kc, so please dont hide behind the pricing at kc as a reason not to come

I remember someone's argument was that away fans are welcome in all parts of the KC stadium, pay less in the South if we like.
So, under that argument, I'd say all away fans are welcome to stand wherever in Headingley too. Oh and they'd pay the same price for the Carnegie terrace, West Stand or South Stand.

| It depends how badly they want the money.... By making away fans pay more than home fans like this they create two possibilities - either away fans refuse to attend because of the cost, thereby reducing the level of support the away team gets, or they attend anyway thereby givng the club extra money. If Hull don't need the money, it's pretty much a win-win. If they do need the money, it's financial stupidity.

| If its not designed to make away fans pay more than home fans then why is the stand generally designated as the stand for away fans the most expensive stand in the stadium? Usually a main stand down one of the sides is the most expensive.

| We keep hearing on Sky that the RFL are innovaters in many things in our sport - videos refs etc so why cant pricing be consistant. ie We charge say £20 for the Western Terrace so Hull charge us £20, if Weeeegan charge £18 then Hull charge Weeeegan the same. I am sure if we hiked the price up for the Hull travelling fans this matter would get resolved.

| I don't think you can do that because all stadiums and clubs are different with different needs and priorities, but it just seems strange that the "away section" is the most expensive in the stadium.
The extra cost put on away fans at the KC is just one of several reasons why I shall not be going.

Another one missing the point by a country mile.
Home fans in the seats behind the sticks = £19
Away fans in the seats behind the sticks = £25
How is this not punishing the away supporters?

Why should we charge you the same as the Western Terrace, when that is uncovered and terraced as opposed to seating and a roof?

| I think Pearson should be applauded for his pricing policy. It's social responsibility. he's doing his best to keep people from having to suffer a trip to Hull.

It isnt punishing the away fans, it is rewarding the home fans.

| Also, Wigan run a promotion for Home fans - bring a friend for £1. This isnt open to away supporters, so are Wigan punishing away fans for wanting to being friends to the game??

Not at all – this is a great marketing idea and will hopefully entice more supporters to the ground. Also I don’t feel as if I’ve been stiffed when hearing this.
What your lot are doing is not only making your ground the most expensive in the league but making it the most expensive ground in the league exclusively for away supporters.

| I have no problem with some sort of pricing plan that makes is more beneficial for home supporters but I think the price difference with regards to the KC is too great.
My main problem is that whilst I don't begrudge paying extra to watch my team, I do begrudge paying extra at a stadium where I cannot guarantee the safety of myself, my party or my vehicle and that speaks volumes I think.

| The RFL should introduce a rule similar to the Premier League:
[i9) A Home Club shall not charge admission prices to supporters of a Visiting Club which are higher than those charged to its own supporters for comparable accommodation.[/i
Simple - and would avoid any situations where a club falls into the hands of an owner who does not have any regard for the wider welfare of the sport.

Not quite right.
Wigan have a promotion whereby a [iseason ticket holder[/i can purchase six tickets for £30 (you have to buy six). This can only be done once per season ticket and excludes the Saints and Wire games.

| There's 5 of us making the trip over, Can't say we're happy about it costing us 25 quid each. I'd like to think the reason it's 25 quid is becuase we'll get an enjoyable, safe welcome but in reality it's the cod eds at the KFC so we know what to expect. I've got a bad feeling about this wknd not in terms of the game but off the pitch, the cod's seem to have become obsessed with us at the moment plus what happened to the wigan coach two weeks ago something does'nt feel right.
I hope Im wrong.

I've never had to pay such outrageous prices in any ground to watch a game of rugby league.

| Quote ="Sheldon"What principle?
If you can't discuss things sensibly lets not bother.'"
I think my principle is quite clear if you read the mixed messages from Hull fans on this thread.
1. Its £23 quid until a few days before the game then its £25 (the same as Wakefuield earlier in the season) thats a rip off when its 319 for home fans.
2. Continuing from 1 and a quote on here the price is to reward home fans (yeah right) nothing to do with increasing revenue because of the terms of the rent you pay on the KC linked to the number of people that attend then?
3. Continuing from 1 and 2 you can go where you like in the ground, so will you be sitting in the cheap seats or the expensive ones and why sell them for £25 if you can sit anywhere, surely both ends should be the same price and down the sides the same although probably more than the ends. As I have said justify the different prices for ale and food in the awaay part compared to the rst of the ground.
4. Thats why I did not attend and will not attend. I have to say its my favourite ground but I will not be held to ransom, it was cheaper to pay on the bus and get a ticket for the London game than the bus and ticket for the KC you are exploiting away support.
