Not entirely true, Danny Williams is now at the Salford City Reds via Newcastle Falcons premiership RU.
I think that losing him was always a pity since he could have developed (with us) into a good wing or even 2nd row.
But as it turns out we don't now need him & it was his loss not ours.
I wonder if he's managed by David Howes?

It's also not entirely true for anyone to imply the bench in the Castleford fixture highlighted didn't play any SL after Leeds as Ben Kaye had two season at the Harlequins before joining Featherstone.

Williams did go to Salford via the Falcons, the fact he called elsewhere en route does not alter that incontravertible fact.
You cannot deny that after leaving us he went to Newcastle, it may or may not have been the first club he went to after leaving us. I didn't say one way or the other.
He then has gone to Salford, he may or may not have gone directly between the two clubs, but he still arrived at Salford via Newcastle.
I did not state that he went straight from Newcastle to the Reds.

But the phrase "not entirely true" referred to the original assertion that those players went into championship football not to my subsequent statement about Danny Williams' journey.
I will repeat that I never claimed anywhere that he went directly from Newcastle to Salford.
"Via" is not an exclusive term, it simply means "by way of".
When I'm wrong I find it much easier to simply admit that.
Something I've done countless times elsewhere on this site, generally when my error has been pointed out by yourself.
