It is hard to imagine a more bitter band of supporters who seem to spend more time looking round the stand for Leeds fans to berate than they do watching their team. There's a lot more independent witnesses who have come forwards saying it was this group of kids who've been causing Arriva problems. As said over on the Cas board, I'm sure they wouldn't mind including this website in the legal action with some of the comments made on here.

7 eye-witnesses have publicly come forwards + others in private which has lead to Cas deeming the comments by Burgess to be slanderous. So a retraction will have to be made by either him and/or the club.

He's been told that it wasn't Cas fans yet he still hasn't deleted the original Tweet or issued an apology, same goes to people on here, despite the witnesses people are still blindly and with nothing other than petty bias, still blaming Cas.

Correct, the Arriva complaints have come from drivers to the actual company, which I can only assume have been forwarded onto police, if not I don't know why you'd have to ask Arriva.

In most likelihood I'd wager it's an empty threat by the club to get a retraction from Burgess, because to be perfectly honest it isn't on for him to make the accusation he did and in the way he did.

As someone else said, it's probably an over reaction by him because he doesn't like Cas fans for cheering Walkers hit last season.

But it is not Burgess that would be instigating legal action. The onus would be on the prosecuting council to prove this lad wasn’t a Cas fan.
