GH is too canny and does not authorise a press release saying he wants to meet the RFL if he is just going to allow the fixture to go ahead anyway! He has some sort of plan, I am not saying it is a definite postponement, but there is some sort of plan, even if it is just one of negative PR.

I think playing Quins on Wednesday night, Crusaders the following Sunday, at home, then having a full week until Warrington away is better than playing without four key players on Saturday. He could start the Quins game with Peacock and Sinfield on the bench and see how things go, if things look sticky he could bring them on, as and when, given that both Quins and Crusaders are in the bottom four, I can't think of better slot for a Wednesday night game.

The other thing as well is that McGuire and Sinfield might only play half the game anyway, or even not at all. Assuming Hall will play a full 80 and Peacock being spelled, I really do think we should take the opportunity the rules allow and postpone. What if we go ahead with the fixture and lose? We make our currently slim chance of making 2nd or 3rd place even harder to achieve!

We of course don't have to get the RFL or the Quins to agree this postponement, the rules are clear, we can submit the form saying we are not playing and the RFL have no choice because the rules are very clear. It is within our rights to postpone and there is jack-all the RFL & Quins can do about it.

If Leeds had been scheduled a home game on the International weekend there would have been zero chance of Leeds requesting a postponement due to the inconvenience that would cause the corporate side of the business.

Of course that isn't the case here so perhaps it will happen.

As I have said before Leeds have been rubbish all season, it is clear that the four players in the sqaud will not all play because they are all terrible, especially Danny Mcguire
the meeting is about the way the squad will be picked, if a player is not in the seventeen will they be released for the day of the game? so can leeds have one or two back to take to Quins

It will be interesting to see McGuire & Tompkins playing at 6/7 or 7/6 together.

You misunderstand me. It's not people getting proper names wrong that bothers me it's sloppy spelling & grammar in other areas.
But Wheels & Sam Buca (would have preferred Bucca to be truly pedantic) have taken on that role now. Before you comment I know that role should have a circumflex over the "o" but I can't be bothered looking for it.
