Is it just me or is organising a game on the same day as the first world cup game for England a poor move by the RFL in terms of trying to get people to watch the game.

The idea of shifting a half to full-back could be risky. It could end up being great, or end up being a disaster. Pryce could do a good job there though.

I agree with O'Loughlin at 13, he's been excellent so far imo.

The chances of Leeds postponing the game at the Stoop (whether able to under RFL rules or not) have to be fairly remote.

Why is it that people think Roby should represent England? He hasn't done much since he won MOS for the half season he was good in.

Given the rubbish masquerading as English centres these days, it may not be too daft to consider having a look at the likes of Ablett/Tomkins for the role. If they're quick enough and have the size then it may be the best option we have.

I'd rather not play a forward there at all, but TBH the actual centres available look so poor I'd consider that type of forward plus the likes of Leon Pryce ahead of most of them, although I suppose Atkins probably should get a chance to show if he's capable.

But the prospect of a Stains fans owning a Leeds boy (no matter how much of a 'tard) on here literally (or metaphorically) is sublimely ridiculous.

Atkins has the attributes needed to be Senior's replacement in the England set-up and now under coach Smith he actually looks capable of realising most of that potential.

Joel Tomkins, Ben Harrison, Carl Ablett all should be certs to play against France.

Don't think Ben Harrison will get in. With Burgess and Ellis coming back they'll play, and Lockers and Joel Tomkins have been the two best back rowers in the league this season.

Could play him at prop i suppose with Peacock being injured.

But then we've got natural props who are performing well this year. The Bradford pack is playing well, our pack is even playing well + if Coley was younger i'd hope he'd be given a shot. I think Burgess may move up to prop if anyone.

Coley gives away too many penalties. Lynch is a better bet IMV.
Somebody mentioned Sidlow who I think in a better team could develop into a cracking player.

I think squad should be giving the youth a chance at the big time a long with the obvious.. so

I think some younger players should be given a chance, but we're still talking about an international cap here, and it needs to be earned.
