If our defence performs up to our usual standards, then I think we may just edge this one. We have the speed and guile in attack to trouble Wigan from anywhere on the pitch, and I reckon it's going to be very close.
Sinny will need to have his kicking boots on though, but hopefully we'll just have our noses in front at full time by 4 points or so.

What a silly comment to make.
Fortunately everyone's opinion on this forum means diddly squat as none of us are in the Leeds coaching staff - Does that mean I and everyone else should no longer express their opinion? 
From the Guardian [iThe Rhinos issued a statement confirming that the 32-year-old will not need surgery because the ligaments were strained rather than ruptured, but their head of physiotherapy, Meirion Jones, said he would be out for four to six weeks.
Even on the most optimistic recovery schedule, that would deny Peacock the chance to prove his fitness to McNamara before he names his team to face France on 1 June.[/i

Your worthless opinion that it would need 'a miracle' for Peacock to be fit (after he has been named in the squad for Saturday) is the bizarre part.
It wouldn't need a miracle so much as a quicker than originally anticipated recovery.
That tends to happen much more frequently than miracles do.
Donald two weeks ago was said by the same medical staff at Leeds to be four weeks away from a return, he played last Sunday - Another miracle?
Eastwood also returned earlier than anticipated - Another miracle?

Was it two weeks ago? The media source posted an article that was out of date, it was pointed out by a couple of posters.

Long term injury - harder to asses the date of return.
When a player is recovery is estimated 4-6 out but two weeks later he is playing rugby again its rather a miraculous recovery or bad judgement from the medic.
Anyway everyone knows just because JP is in the squad it means FA! Sinfield could hardly walk and he was named in the squad for 3 weeks running and didn't appear. |

I don't give a fook about Donalds injury and tbh Im not a fan of back needless bickering... My opinion is that when the JP is ruled out by 4-6 weeks by the medical staff and 2 weeks later he is fine and dandy playing rugby again its rather a miraculous recovery or bad judgement in the first place from the medic - Especially when your talking about knee ligaments which need to be 110% healed before playing rugby league. Other injurys you can go into a game without been 100% and can pull though, but knee ligaments certainly is not one of them. |

Either way if he plays do you think the medical staff would risk him possibly missing the rest of the season?
Lets not forget there are "text book" answers to every injury and the club initially releasing that he could be out for 4-6 weeks is a ball park figure for that injury,not taking into account how it will respond to treatment.
It's hardly bad judgement if a player responds to treatment better than 1st thought or if the injury worsens and they are out longer. |
