You’ve soon forgot about James Graham sometime last year when he didn’t shake anybody’s hands.

Eastwood is the ONLY player I've ever seen who was knackered after the the warm up.
Go back and look at my posts after I came back from the 2008 World Cup.
This is not anti Leeds.
I commented tonight that there are not many teams who would have had that skill and pace to score McGuires try, that really turned the game, but I do believe that Eastwood will turn out to be a poor signing that you didn't really need.
Time will tell, and if I'm wrong I'll say so.
It's all a matter of opinions.

Considering Leeds lost a World Class back rower over a year ago, and needed to replace said back rower with an equal replacement, surely you would agree that a World cup winning, experienced yet youthful forward like Eastwood would be [iexactly [/iwhat Leeds needed?
Or are you one of the few opposition fans that really rate Carl Ablett?
As a troll, you have a lot of holes in your posts!

I would have expected a new team, playing in a new city with a packed stadium, with Brian Noble as coach, playing the Champions in the first game of the season in the snow to be competitive for the first 40-60 minutes. Nothing I saw tonight was a surprise.
Leeds will be "dominated" for some periods of [ievery [/imatch they play this season against SL opposition. Only halfwitts would assume otherwise.

Come on, we've cloned Lee Crooks, wait and see how many extra burger vans Headingley can support this year..

| I expected a similar result tonight and I expect Rhinos to win the GF.
With the best hooker in SL back fully fit, a centre better than Jamie Lyon and the recruit of the season (Eastwood) in SL suggested by some high profile people, then who has a chance of stopping us.

I've been in Australia for the last year and watched a fair bit of NRL and Eastwood is a quality signing, the bulldogs were top of the league for most of the season and Eastwood was a big part of that.

But yeah no end in sight!'"
After a performance like that against a team tipped to finish bottom (not by me may I add) and you are tipping Leeds to go unbeaten this season.
Did you watch the match in the pub serving free shots and beer all night?
Think a few teams prob thinking they could defeat Leeds after tonight and will have been a boost to the likes of Warrington, Saints and the Bulls.

He's always been that size and shape and it was also his 1st outing of the season.
Like someone posted earlier i think we'll trust the likes of Wayne Bennett,Stephen Kearney and Bluey etc when assessing Eastwood.

| All went about according to script for me. No sense of dissapointment with any aspect of it aside from a couple of badly chosen offloads that I'd put down to early season rustiness.
Whilst I thought Crusaders did extremely well and wish them and their support (and even Brian Noble who despite his 'anti Leeds' stance I really rate as a coach and he's a very nice fella) I can't say that at any time it felt like a win looked anything other than inevitable. Only the commentary would give an impression otherwise.
Just to go back to a couple of earlier points -
Danny McGuire's belly - yep I noticed that!
Buderus - I thought his second spell was excellent but I actually thought Diskin was better than his first spell. Having said that my impression was that everyone was playing very much within themselves for much of the first half.
Ali's second try - I wouldn't have given it though its far from unreasonable to say that at some point part of the ball would probably have made contact with the ground.

Yet good enough to play for the Bulldogs week in week out.

I would have thought, as a few teams beat Leeds last year, that they would have been thinking that before last night.

| I know my peepers are not what they used to be, but was anyone else having trouble actually seeing the ball last night?
There was also the bizarre effect of Leeds players "vanishing" when they were overlayed with the Sky "on pitch" graphics for 5th tackle.

| Delaney showed some good skills to put McGuire away for the game breaker, I'm looking forward to seeing a more balanced attack this season with the Donald, Delaney, Eastwood combination instead of mainly going to Senior and Hall. May be interesting to see which side is going to be more profitable.

Glad it wasn't just me. At times it was like a dynamic spot the ball competition.
Game about as I expected, especially once I saw the snow. I think that type of game will have done the team more good than simply running in 70+ points, as some seem to think they should have done.
Surprised by VR decision on Ali's try - but yet again impressed by what a decent bloke Ali is.

The gulf in class between Buderus and Diskin appeared phenomenal last night.
That really could have been one banana skin had we not been able to bring Buderus back on. He completely changed the game in that second spell.
For me he also had a very good first spell.
Unfortunately, IMO Diskin was just not at the races last night.
