Left the offices today in Shorpe at 10.20, took me an hour to get to Gainsborough, then the 2 roads i could take were both shut. Ended up going back to Shorpe getting on M180 then M18 then A1 only to get caught in the traffic jam caused by a jackknifed lorry at the Worksop turn off, then road into my village nearby was closed due to an accident so did the last 4 miles or so through the small back roads and villages in 1st gear doing about 5 mph. My usual 50 min journey took over 5 hours

Is there reason to believe the Leeds game on Saturday may be in doubt with the surrounding areas as there are at the minute?

I would say that at this moment in time, however its meant to clear by thursday, and hopefully they will clear it all to welcome back the heros of Old Trafford.

Leeds at a standstill today. Took me an hour to get from Netto Seacroft to Asda Killingbeck. Reports say other main corridoors into Leeds are the same. So i turned round and have just arrived in my lovely warm house

Meh, got from Swarcliffe into Leeds on the 40 ok. York road was bad, not from snow just dopey drivers going through red lights and such. All in all took me just 5 extra miniutes to get over to Gelderd road than usual, so dunno what all the fuss is about.

The snow has arrived here now, looks like I may be stuck here a few extra days yet!

At what time? 40 has a constant bus lane from Selby Road onwards, its alright for you. Its the one day i'd be happier on the bus than a car.

Only light snow with sunny intervals forcast in leeds now until next monday so it should start to clear up over the next few days, main roads will be fine after a couple more rush hours.
