strangely I have all the Royle Family on DVD, find it hilairious. Love Bo Selecta and League of Gentlemen(first two series only). Have never watched Spaced religiously but have watched the odd episode which are good.

Of course no one should listen to me because my favourite programme at the moment is Two and a Half Men that I actually cry with laughter at every episode.

I know its' not quite what the thread was about but I adore Scrubs.

The mighty boosh is 5hite, but it is very funny live.

Again, its not quite the right thread but I think the IT crowd and Black books are well underrated.

Black Books was great, the first series of the IT Crowd, however, was a total miss for me. Thats because the writers appeared to know sod-all about IT departments so all the attempted "IT jokes" fell flat. Series 2 onwards, however, they've seemed to shift their attention to places of work in general so actually know what they're joking about. The episode where the smokers end up "banished to siberia" was pure genius!

Being an IT professional I would agree with it from what I have seen. Though can't remember ever laughing at it.

I like The IT Crowd though it has improved with each series. The best episode was when they're at the musical "Gay!"

Of what's discussed so far I don't get the following, somebody must like 'em but it sure as hell ain't me.

All that other crap like X Factor, I'm a celeb, type crap is for kids and fekkwits.

As for soaps I haven't watched Corrie since the Ogdens were in it. T'wife watches Enders as a guilty pleasure but it sends me running for another room.

I do get The League of Gentlemen though, that's pure quality.

I saw that a few weeks back and did think it was very good. Had never seen it before. The following week I got our lass to watch the IT Crowd telling her it was really good but thenext episode was really week in comparison. I do quite fasncy the bird in it though.

She falls into the 'pretty fit but attainable' category that I do find endearing.

Hmmm, I like the "fat lass in the kebab shop at 3am with low self esteem" category myself. They're generally very accommodating.

The Day Today was genius, but I couldn't watch Brass Eye. It was too much and only funny in a cringeworthy sort of way.

I never got Fawlty Towers. I have tried and tried to watch it but I find it tiresome and predictable. There are some great scenes, "what do expect to see from a Torquay hotel window madam..", but most of it was unwatchable and irritating.
