as for the challenge, it was a horrible accident end of. even the nasiest players ever would never do that on purpose. also take into account both players played for the same club many moons ago and were good friends. also yes the replay looks like seniors knee went into the back of chev, but forgive me for also noting in the replay that both were running in the same direction. Now i know in saints they are so retarded they crawl around, but when people run, their knees usually go forwards and backwards.

Should you decide to pop on there again, you will see that only one Saints fan blamed Senior for the tackle. All other Saints fans, me included, saw it as innocuous. Just one of those unfortunate incidents during a match.

I've been able to tolerate most of the bile on redvee in recent weeks, but the comments about Senior deliberately trying to hurt Chev were a step too far. So I registered and, without being in any way inflamatory, tried to put over a sensible point of view. the response I got from one cretin was to be bombarded with all kinds of sick paedophillic comments! On the flip side, I also got a couple of really decent pm's from genuine rugby fans apologising for the treatment I'd got and assuring me that not all Saints fans shared the opinions of idiots like that. The moral? Whatever site you go on your always going to find idiots, thankfully though they represent a massively low percentage of the supporters of this sport - the response from the crowd to Chev's injury showed the real side of rugby league. For every idiot, there are thousands of genuine fans, and I would happily chat about the game with true supporters of any club - I have no hatred for any club or its fans, we are not football!!! Sadly though, there are always some people who shouldn't be allowed to draw breath, let alone post on message boards!!!

I have been away this weekend and only saw the game last night, the most dissapointing thing for me was that I [iknew[/i when I clicked on Southstander this morning that there would be Saints fans ready to blame Senior for the injury - and that the usual suspects would appear to point out how "hypocritical" we are and how "obsessed" we are.
