It looked awful but not as bad the break that Edourdo the Arsenal player suffered and he is back as good as new - so hopefull Hull KR will invest the appropriate funds in the medical treatment to get Chev's leg correctly treated

All very well congratulating the SS (I'm part of it) but many in the same stand were a) abusing CW prior to the incident and b) abusing Hull KR and their fans shortly afterwards.

Chev will be fine, a bit of manipulation, wires and screws, choice of coloured pot, 6 months rehab and good as new.

When all is said and done its a broken bone and I'm sure that whichever hospital he was taken to has had lots of experience of broken bones, complications and all.

All very well patting each other on the back and getting all 'greatest game' because people chanted CW's name for about 30 seconds. Problem is, it's kind of rendered a bit empty when the same people abuse the opposition both before and after.

What you're talking about happens at most sporting events be it football, rugby, cricket or whatever. It's part of sport.

What we're talking about, on the other hand, is a nasty injury followed by a warming gesture from the majority of the south stand. It was a gesture which was not compulsory, but was offered because the supporters of that stand, and this game in general, have respect for opposition players and fans.

What I do not have, is any respect for a poster who attempts to hijack a thread simply to promote their own particular viewpoint.Your points, re the normal abuse of the opposition during a game are simply nonsensical, and are easily dismissed as such.

Once again, on this occasion, congrats from the Northstand to all in the Southstand for their instinctive and spontaneous reaction to Chev's injury.
