Personally I think the worst contract extensions Leeds have committed recently was for Burrow & McGuire's to expire at the same time. There should have been a year apart. Probably McGuire a year more as he seems more stable whereas Burrow could lose pace and if head injuries persist there could be problems. Not saying they shouldn't both have long contracts but to possibly lose both half backs at the end of one season would be a huge blow and that year will be make or break in terms of do we kick on from there and continue to be a success or do we fall away a bit for a few years, like Wigan.

I believe that it was due to how driving offences were reclassified under the new rules. They are now in the process of being changed. Typical of immigration red tape and bureaucracy.

The commentators there were saying he'd been earmarked by Brisbane as TC's natural successor at "lock", which would fit in with his build and ball handling ability, in my opinion. Maybe he wouldn't make an "English" loose-forward, but the Aussies tend to play their 13's slightly differently.
