Callum Casey also signed a fulltime deal with the Rhinos for next season, hes a very good creative halfback and has signed a one year deal to help back up for Burrow and McGuire, he can also play 13 and got U20's Players' Player of the Year for this season, looks a very good prospect despite only signing on a 1 year deal. Tom Bush has been released by the Rhinos and so he wont be on the replacement list.

as per this year the fringe will look a little light weight and some rebuilding will have to be done.

The need to blood some youngsters will be crucial before we lose all the experinced old players. but let us hope we dont go the way of Bradford and completely fall apart and have to do major rebuilding.

Ah, well one of the players signing up on a fulltime contract for us told me the other week Bedsy had signed a two year deal not a 1 year. Bush got U20's Player of the Year, and Casey got Players' Player of the year which is voted by the players.

Bush..player of the year. In Full back position I guess ? Shame if so with Webb, Smith and BJB to contend with in pecking order. Didn't look good enough on wing when he played for 1st team. Do you think he looks good enough make it at SL level in FB position ?

I think the kids got the heart of a lion when i've seen him in the u20's and done some good things but at this moment in time maybe a step down to the championship will do him good because i don't think he's ready yet for SL at our level at least.

Reuben Haile, got released by us at the end of the Academy Season. Bushy had a quality season in U20's when some fans complained he lacked physical ability when playing in the first team i thought that too, but in the Academy hes like a strong running front rower! Would love to see his meter making stats, he looked very good, so id expect Bush to sign for another Super League Club or Championship. Im pretty sure though that Callum Casey could be a star for us.

Interesting to hear Peter Smith at the YEP say that he believes only one Leeds player will make the 4 Nations Tour down under.

I was only expecting two after the injuries but it appears one of Sinfield or Hall could be joining his team-mates in a long off season, if he's proven correct that is.

I'd be happy for none of players to be going down under tbh and for them to get a full off season of rest and a slow build up to pre-season.

If it isn't Hall, then unless he's injured McBanana needs his head testing.

Any combination of Briscoe, Fox and Riley would get run over the top of by the Aussie outside backs.

I suspect they'll already know privately but i believe the official travelling Squad will be announced on monday after the GF.

Even if some of the fans would like to see the Leeds players overlooked (not a view I share by the way) the news could be difficult for the players to accept if they feel they've earned a place.

Everyone will remember Sinfield describe how he felt after receiving the news of his non-selection in 2004 (even after captaining his club to their first League Leaders Shield since 1971/72 and I think the first in the club's history in Divisional football, their first Championship in 32 years and the birth of his first child) he was devastated when Noble pulled the rug from under his world.

I think only Hall and Sinfield have a realistic chance of being picked anyway but there's always a couple who miss out that many think should of been selected.
