He's a definite loss. Presume you were asleep for the second half at magic weekend. I don't think there's a centre with more assists this year. If you don't rate him that's fine but to say he's no loss is false. Our defence was baba last year much improved this year and a proportion of that is having our captain back playing.

I would suggest you have not seen Castleford play at all. Shenton is a million miles away from over rated. He is far better than many running around super league.

I Have always thought Shenton was a good centre. Suits the Cas style of play to a tee.He will be a big miss for them

he's on the form of his life, but allot of that is down to cas structure, they play with great structure and utilize set moves very well. every one says what great rugby they are playing but for the most part is a great executed well drilled side and game plan. we play a much more off the cuff style relying on individual brilliance and off load game.
shenton is a loss as he is a main cog in a well oiled machine, but others can fill in and do a similar but not quite effective job, as a creative wingers centre he is no Brad Godden or Darren wright or David Stephenson or even Keith Senior. still a good player.

I agree I think Shenton will be a loss and I am quitely pleased Monaghan wil ltake his place.

What a negative comment

Cas were poor against Hull dropping the ball and giving too many penalties away. They lost by 8 points due to 4 converted penalties. Even when Can play badly they don't get beat by much. Would imagine they will all be on their game Friday.

cas dropped the ball and gave penalties away due to fatigue. Penalty count was only 8-5 in Hull's favour anyway and I don't think completion rates were massively different, just one coach bleating about errors and the other one won so wasn't bothered.

It will take a massive effort from cas to win this one IMO. i think leeds will win by virtue of a training run in relatively cool temperatures last weekend and 2 extra days rest

I think he can do a job defensively at centre, but the issue will be if he feels he has to help Handley out (which he'll have to), at which stage gaps appear all over the place and Minikin and Webster have a field day.

Bet Cas are ting themselves now Mc Donut says Leeds are coming for them. Play a championship team and get a good win and he thinks Leeds are the dogs do dars. Don't get too cocky can't remember the last time Leeds cane anywhere close to beating Cas. Must have dropped the ref a few quid to be so cocky
