Well The Dogs Trust on the A64 just before you hit the A1 is always open to dog walkers, you have to stay on their land for obvious reasons though (I think), I only ever walked our dog when he was serving time there.

I have noticed that there are quite a number of folk around the carpark at Golden Acre Park of an evening . Lots of leash shaking , but barely a dog in sight .

Seriously though .. I only ever go there with my kids to take the dog for a walk . I have heard rumours that it is a popular venue for other activities though . My zhu once ran across the frozen fishing pond and stood on the island barking (laughing ) at me as if he was daring me to chase him . There were quite a lot of footprints across the ice , but there was no way I was risking going over to him .

When they come around to take photos you put your best clothes on (all of them), have a wash and a shave, stand there and smile.

When they speak to you you speak back to them nicely and without using swear words and you try and mention the company name as often as possible but not ridiculously, one time per breath will do.
