Ok smart @rse yeah given that the stitching and collar look the same and using the logic that the home shirt is nothing like the current blue training top.

...I'll also add that I wasn't insisting it was the same by saying 'is it' merely asking the question, and they do look similar given the 'detail' shown

Meh! Enough with the pink. Would have liked a proper amber shirt with the irregular blue hoops, blue shorts amber and blue hooped socks.

Changing designs and colours is a sad inevitable conclusion to selling your identity to fund the organisation.

I don't mind the pink, particularly when I recall the initial reason for introducing it - to reflect the use of pink by various cancer charities after the untimely, premature death of John Holmes.
But I do feel that the club has yet again missed a trick here by not agreeing to donate a cash amount (min £1) to a cancer charity for each shirt sold.
Had they done that I think they'd sell more & shut up those opposed to using the colour.
I do like the alleged reason for incorporating black in this year's design to acknowledge the club's Kiwi links.

Yeah the black is to 'represent' the Kiwis playing at Headingley in the World Cup this year......something similar to JJB's testamonial shirt would have been more appropriate for that, or even a mostly black shirt with pink trim if they wanted to keep it so badly.

I don't mind them continuing with pink, but just if they get it right like the 2011 shirt. I'd say it is slighty better than last year's though.

No not by a distance, that '3 stars number' and the White kit with rhino black and red 'ribbon trim' was disgusting!

I guess I will eventually buy this shirt but I wont be rushing out with a wedge of cash in hand any time soon.

If they'd gone with the pink 'Stade Francais' stylie shirt that the lads had for the warm weather training then that'd be a different matter - love that shirt.

The "combat" top is splendid. I would buy one.

I like pink. I think I'd even quite like this one without the yellow sponsor logo, which ruins it for me.

No big deal, I don't really care what colour the away kit is. If I like it, I'll buy it (loved last year's, bought it), if I don't I won't. No drama.

If they don't release the combat top for sale there'll be drama though. I'll have to go over there and kick some ass. (hopefully they've never seen me in real life and won't realise what a thoroughly un-terrifying prospect that is....)
