less than an handful are better or as good as Webb still got a lot to give yet. Still think to many are pushing the young boys to quick, in my opinion Watkins and co have to show yet.

Confirmed today in press reports in Australia the previous speculation that Mimis who is Buderus's manager/agent has approached GH about seeking his release to Newcastle Knights for 2012 and that Danny is keen for the move.
GH has told Mimms and Danny that he is a key member of our team for 2012 and we don't want to release him UNLESS Mimms can source a replascement top hooker within the NRL (the implication being that if Mimms can then GH will agree to Danny's release) but that it's all gone quiet as no suitable replacement has yet being put on the table.
GH stating that we are only in the business of releasing key players if quality replacements can be found.
I wonder where that leaves things as given recent history with Burgess,Cross and Eastwood, surely if Buderus formally asks to be released GH will not stand in his way??

Buderus hasn't commented in that article. The article is speculating that he is keen to return (and he may well be) but there is no proof that he is.
I'd be surprised if there won't be an equally good opportunity for Buderus to return to Newcastle after his current contract with Leeds expires. |

It might be spin from GH but he does say in the article that Buderus knows the Rhinos are ambitious for 2012 and he wants Danny to be part of it. With players leaving that must meam some quality players (as well as Griffin) being signed. Wigan and the Wolves seem to be chasing Stefan Ratchford who can play centre and half-back. Are we interested or has Gary got other irons in the fire?
