Leeds needed the refs intervention to get anything out of the last game at Huddersfield, and you know it. So that was a lucky break for you that won you the LLS. And officials again in the GF won it for Leeds. It just seemed to be that the RFL wanted Leeds to do the treble at all costs for Sinny and JP.

Did the RFL take control of mcguire and grix's brain to engineer that LLS winning try as well?

Aye that's why the refs gave both Hudds and Wigan kickable penalties in the 2nd half for them to extend their leads



Riddle me this, if Hicks was going for a Leeds win, why go to the screen for Hall's try at the end? What if the video had shown something worthy of disallowing it? Seems a strange thing to do if he was going for a Leeds win.

Of all the excuses for the Giants repeated big game failings down the years, that's a belter. You had a chance to win something. You failed. Again. No conspiracy, no plot, just outright failure. Think you'd be used to it by now.

But to be fair CC apart when we never got off the bus, there has been very little between the sides this season and I think some of the jibes at Huddersfield are uncalled for. Each game has been too close to call.

but they were, and once again when the time came Hudds were weighed, measured and found wanting.

Yep and if they invent a 'So close but yet so far Title' then Hudds can win it.....meanwhile we'll just settle for another GF, CC and LLS.

In a brotherly spirit of West Yorks solidarity, I will give you that the Giants are an improved side and one that during the regular season always seem to manage to take a few points off us. But when the chips are down and serious silverware is on offer.........

Like many Rhinos, if you had managed to finally make it to a final and we weren't in it, I'd have been routing for you. It would be good for the sport to see a new name on one of the majors. But we won't give it to you and neither will Saints or Weegan, so your lot will have to find a way of stepping up. In the meantime probably a good idea not to blame the ref, the RFL or Jet lag if things don't go your way

That's what Huddersfield lack. Three weeks in a row we were clinging on by our fingernails in games and by sheer will to win or stubbornness as Peacock describes it as, we found a way to win.

If Hudds took that battering in the first 20 mins of the 2nd half of the GF, would they find a way to battle back like we did and win it? If Hudds fans were being honest even they'd have to say probably not. In fact they'd probably crumbled and concede another 3/4 tries.

That's just the way it is that Hudds fans need to accept instead of blaming the ref or RFL for their shortcomings.

Teams like Huddersfield lack toughness. They aren't survivors. If there was a zombie apocalypse they'd be the first to die. Sure when the going's good brough is buzzing round like a little knat and everything's fine and dandy. As soon as there's a bit of pressure like a big occasion, or some adversity in the game they collapse. The semi against wigan was shameful. It might as well have been a bye for wigan and it meant the old war horse peacock's last game was alot more taxing than it should have been because wigan were so fresh. Leeds should have had an easier time of clinching the TREBLE, but no huddersfield had to bend over.

It takes time and some special people on and off the field to develop that winners mind set. We had to do it in the long build up to our first GF win and with the right people and circumstance Hudds and Wire could follow that path. We don't have a divine right to be successful. It comes through long term planning and hard work. The next couple of years will see how deeply ingrained that ethos is, I reckon we'll do alright.

I don`t like blaming officials for results, but in close games they certainly make some faux-pas`s.
But having a go at me for bringing it up is a bit rich, as when Leeds have lost there are plenty on here having a go at your favourite refs for bad calls.

But Leeds didn't lose much this season did they?

Pity they didn't invite wire or cas to compete in the play offs instead of you too.

We got some bad calls in the 2003 cup final I will give you that but we have lost plenty of finals since then but I cant remember many contentious decisions or any Joynts voluntary tackle style moaning from Leeds fans about any finals we have lost.

I thought Ken Davy had said they didn't want to play in the WCC until they are champions
