Went there on honeymoon 11 years ago. Despite that still quite liked the place.

We stay at the quiet end in a lovely apartment.3rd time for us.

Never been myself, heat might be a bit unbearable, once did dubai in march/april, was over 90f cant imagine what it would be like june july!, think egypt shares a similar climate, therefor height of summer is low season, therefor cheaper, so get the asbestos overcoat out and go for it.

Had a short break in Paris in April and then we have 2 weeks somewhere vaguely Dordogne-ish in August.

The latter is with the outlaws - who are paying - as cuts to salary, bonus and commission would have ruled anything out on our own.

If it picks up we may manage a trip somewhere in the autumn for a few days but likely to be in the UK.

Probably not going to bother this year. Might sneak a week in Portugal but it's highly unlikely to be honest.

I'm planning on going to Australia for the 4 Nations next year

Benidorm for us this year..........well infact 4 days time

Went to Benidorm for the first time last year and despite the bad press it gets I realy enjoyed the place, I found it very clean and we had some great food and the nightlife is.......well......lively.

Just come back from Protaras in Cyprus which was V nice indeed. Stayed out of the main resort (10 mins away) and it was peacefull and relaxing with a great set up, food and pool. And the fact that it never fell below 25 degrees helped immensley

Was going to go to cornwall in mid july, but not got into gear and booked it yet. Probably too late. May settle for camping somewhere if the weather is good

Trust me there are no virgins at primrose valley.

Due to work (well the assistant manager) been a complete nightmare to sometimes work with or talk to, she declined me any days off more than 5 days until October. Should have just booked it anyway, but not bothered this year.

I have managed to get a saturday night of in August to go to Newcastle, and I may go to Scarborough one Saturday afternoon, but that is it where my summer "outings" are concerned for this year.

West coast of France in mid August. Might get to Uk in September.

Not too shabby, there is the inevitable "english bars" with corrie and pie mash, but plenty other things and places to go to keep you occupied, the tour bus is a nice time waster / relaxer.

Ther harbour is THE place to go apparently with loads of bars and restaurants to sample and i had one of the best curries i have ever had in benalmadena so it cant be all that bad.

If you get the chance too get on the trip to Gibraltar 2 hrs on the coach but well, well worth it, the last little bastion of the empire. cheap fags and booze but the border controls are a bit.... erm... overzealous!?! so be careful with your quantities
