It really is as bad as it sounds, and we turned it off and watched 'Bolt' (again) instead

Most lasses I know have fallen in love with it. I've still to watch it yet though!

It was fantastic, a rare case of the film being as good as the book

The Da Vinci code was tosh unlike the book, the prequel comes out in a couple of weeks, Angels & Demons, early reviews say its even worse than the Da Vinci code. For Blockbusters this summer, Christian Bale has 3 must see movies.

F*cking must have been! Jesus that film is boring. Eyes bleeding dry boring. And they weren't even vampires! They didn't have the weird looking facial features and I can't remember seeing much fang action. It was utter, utter, utterutter down in the gutter S-H-I-T-E.

Yep. 3 hours of utter crap. apart from a couple of decent fight scenes. I expected it have more action (not sexual by the way

) but the film never gets going. felt really let down. I was walking out with my missus and 4 or 5 people who i could here behind me were fuming at how bad it was..

The uninvited - Probably the best of the 3. Nothing special but a good twist at the end!

I wouldn't quite go that far - it had its moments, particularly the prison scenes, but it was too long and dragged too much - everytime I thought it was finally picking up a bit it slowed right down again. Carla Gugino is nice though

The Watchmen looked good and had its' moments but overall I left the cinema thinking meh!

I watched one of them boring ghost films recently. I can't remember what it was called though. Yeah it was The Unborn about that dead Nazi kid? It was horrificly bad.

Couldn't agree more! Worst film I've seen this year by a distance! I spent most of the film hoping like hell that they'd all die - very painfully. Unfortunately not all of them did - shame....

Add 'Hard Rain' to the list.

Freeman and Slater in robbery in the rain farce. Could be up there with worst disaster movie, now that's a thread in itself.

I was kind of in and out of it, it was too boring, the only time it really caught my attention was when that old guy was walking on his hands and feet with his head twisted round. That look pretty good actually.

I could have watched that, I had the chance, but there was just no way.

I just spent half the movie thinking "Is that Gary Oldman? And what possessed him to be in this film?"

Over the past week I've seen Fast & Furious and Observe & Report - both turned out to be more enjoyable than I'd anticipated. F&F whilst being fairly pointless did manage to tick all the boxes it was supposed to tick, and O&R was predictably un pc, but very amusing in places - both worth a look if you're bored and there's nothing else on.

Yeah. Gazza Oldy. Scripts must by drying up for him. Taking what he can before we all forget who he is?



I love massive cliche films! I might have to give it a go.

But what will Film Number 4 in the brand offer? Plenty more wheel spins, spoilers and detailed plot?

Yeah they can be awesome (Re: Die Hard doesn't leave many action clichess out and that is the greatest action movie of all time IMO), however Hard Rain doesn't even fall into the 'so bad it's good' category. Avoid at all costs. Unless you wan to punish yourself for previos crimes?
