I think Ferdy was implying the Cullen should return to Wire – the way they’re playing at the moment I wish he would.

If Cullen comes back we need to sign Sinfield to translate to the players what the feck he's talking about.

I can remember when the Wire fans were sure that they were going to beat the Saints earlier on in the season,and we know what happened,,.Warrington are playing hot @ the mo but it could well be much closer than that.

Friday will be a tough ask, purely based on current form, but we know we can beat Warrington.

Our biggest game and test of the season imo.. the last one when we we're supposedly in form we got hammered by Saints.. lets hope history doesn't repeat it's self. We need 4 points out of our next 2 games to have a shot at retaining our title imo (obviousley there's still alot of games left but there'd be too much catching up to do).

An interesting dilemma facing McLennan on how he structures the side, assuming Ablett returns at loose and Sinfield stays in the halves. Three potential options IMO:

1 - A straight swap Ablett for Burrow. Sinfield remains the pivot in the middle, McGuire looks after one side and Ablett the other.

2 - Ablett takes up the pivot role while Sinfield moves to play a little wider

3 - Ablett plays as more of a running back rower in the same way JJB did earlier in the season when named at 13.

Personally I'd go for option 1, involves the least disruption to the structure of the side.

oh dear.. we may struggle Friday... my word we've had some injuries this season... maybe we're paying the price for 3 gf wins plus international games.. our players bodies possibly burnt out a bit...??

Yep is never a good source for our injury updates. bluey said ablett was rested against Blackpool! He had his knee cleaned out which is 2 weeks. Ali seemed fine at the end of the game! and Eastwood was still 4 weeks away then played. bluey always plays his cards close to his chest and is always putting out a smoke screen or 2. I think we will see eveyone but burrow and watkins back this week or next!
