Aye totally agreed. If so, one really hard knock to his wrist could really put Graham out for quite abit imo and is a risky move. You will miss Maurie for the rest of the campaign imo because he is a big impact to your squad, for your sake, i hope you dont lose anymore players to injury this season. For us, its a big chance for us to capitalise to top of the table imo. results going our way too obviously

My sources tell me that next year, St Helens will be without Lee Gilmour too. A trip back over the Pennines could well be in the pipeline for him.

Cracking player, but we've signed a centre in soliola for next year, and Wheeler can cover there very well (better than Gilmour IMO).

We're pretty heavy on good back rowers too, so I can see the thinking - especially if he's after a 2 year deal a la Longy.

If we use his and Longy's cap space on upgrades for the youngsters and a prop, I'd be happy. Cayless will also be on his way (barring miraculous form on his return from injury and a reduced deal) and we're under the cap this year, so we're likely to have a fair few quid to play with next year, even with Soliola in and several upgrades.

Not how I read it. They have the pick of the week 2 winners, i.e. they can't pick the other top 4 side who wins in week 1.

TBH it doesn't matter who they've got missing at the moment as we don't play them for a while and there's alot of rugby to be played before then.
I'm more interested in how we are playing and how our squad is shaping up.
