| Quote ="Saddened!"The most farcical thing ever. Anyone would think he was playing Leeds at the weekend. If he gets banned for that the game has gone mad, it was ridiculous that he's even been referred for it. The spin is due to momentum and at no point does he turn the ankle, he ensures it's facing in it's natural direction at all times. If that is worth a ban, any tackle around the legs must also be a ban. To make it worse they also told Luke Walsh off, when he was receiving far worse treatment from the Widnes player kneeling on the leg he broke last year.
The disciplinary is an utter farce currently. James Green of Hull KR gets a 1 match ban for a deliberate and totally premeditated attack to Travis Burn's head using a banned technique that's resulted in a broken cheekbone, and Greenwood is down for 2-3 games for tackling someone by the ankle.'"
Greenwood deserves a ban for his snidey ways since making the 1st team. Always got his hands on the ball in the tackle, likes giving out the old facials, and always has a bit of interference at the play the ball. I've taken an immediate dislike to him. He probably was trying to do Browns injured ankle, he seems that sort of kid.

| Quote ="Old Feller"But Greenwood knew that Brown had injured the same ankle earlier so was hardly acting as an innocent it seems to me.
Saints fans can't moan about that & then defend Walsh.'"
But he didn't grab the ankle and roll like Sneyd did. All Greenwood did was make the tackle with his arms wrapped around the lower part of Brown's shin. As he tries to get up his gets one foot free and Greenwood manages to keep hold of his other resulting in the foot/ankle getting a bit caught. That's the definition of an accidental one in act of trying to slow down the PTB, not what Hull claimed with Sneyd.

I will be pleasantly surprised if both Mags and Cuthbo are fit and if so then who will drop out if all others are fit too? Yates is obvious but there is a good argument to retain Keinhorst and rest Handley

Handley bounced back well last week I thought and Keinhorst is doing well in the back row so wouldn't jig him about ATM even though I think he could miss out if Cuthbertson is fit and we end up having at prop at loose.
IF both McGuire and Cuthbertson are fit I think it'll be...
Hardaker
Handley
Watkins
Moon
Hall
Sinfield
McGuire
Leuluai
Aiton
Peacock
Ward
Ablett
Cuthbertson
Burrow
Delaney
Garbutt
Singleton
If McGuire misses out then it'll be interesting to see if he calls up Robbie Ward or goes with a 4 forward bench.

| I demand Jimmy K stays in. He is the one who has impressed me most the last few weeks. And Sinners was a demon against Hull last week as well...
Anyway, does anyone know if there is a U-19s game on first on Friday? Seems an ideal time to do so if there is going to be 20k+ but there is no mention anywhere on the website that there will be anything on before. I am going with a few newbies / RL tourists and I don't want to be stood gassing somewhere in the stadium grounds having a drink while the SS is filling up. If I can persuade them with there 'being a game on before' it will strengthen my hand! I assume there is nothing happening as there is no mention on the website but people on here seem to know first - the article saying about 'only 400 tickets left for CT' has only appeared online in the last hour but someone said it here before then. Thanks

U'19's are listed as playing on Saturday vs Hull so doesn't look like they'll play before.
I would like to see Keinhorst stay in but last two games McDermott has really downplayed his showings in the post match interviews whilst bigging Delaney up massive after the Hull win so I have a feeling it Cuthbertson is fit then Keinhorst will be the forward to miss out (along with Yates).
Very much depends on who you play at Loose, recently has been Ablett but wouldn't be surprised if he went with another prop their vs Saints. He did away and usually does vs Catalans.

If fit I guess Mac will start Cuthbo at 13 if not perhaps Singo. Saints have been playing LMS in the 2nd row and 3 props on the bench so we need to counter that. As I said their big guys looked tired last week so I would be inclined to try and move them around a lot in the heat. Our best kicking game is required.
Swift has been in speedy form and Handley (despite a much improved showing last week) has shown a positional weakness in defending his opposite number recently which Saints may well have noted hence I would plump for the Keinhorst/Watkins combination on our right. I agree Mac did downplay Keinhorst's recent MOM performance but that maybe done for a reason we don't know about. I am sure he is well aware of JK's contributions recently

| I'm naively hopeful someone tomorrow will have a brainwave and move it forward 18 hours to Friday night! Thanks
I think re. Keinhorst he is smaller and you lose something from bigger places, yes but for what he is and what he can provide I like him. I'd rather have a Keinhorst with less overall physical presence performing at 90% than a Delaney with more overall physical presence, but performing at 60%...

I have always regarded setting up a try (or three) as making an impact. He is big enough at centre and has not been shown up when called upon to play in the back row where his ball playing skills made up for any lack of grunt in taking the ball up in thick traffic. In the two games against Hull he scored a try and played a major part in creating 3 others not to mention 34 tackles in the first of these games.

Your spot on Tad. Two weeks ago he was very good, last week other than the brilliant hands at the end for the try, he was far too lightweight. Think people get too carried away based on the one moment of quality, and not surprised McDermot was down playing.
We will need more than one moment from all the players this week, and personally if it came down to choice, size would be the better bet for this weeks match.

I'm about there.
Enough to be intrigued by him at 2nd row but not carried away. Wouldn't mind if he makes the 17 this week, wouldn't be disappointed if he missed out if everyone fit. Shown plenty of promise for future years, should we beef him up in the off-season? Worked for Ward.
