Eastmond strikes me as being a Robinson figure...special pace and power of the mark, give you a performance from half-back against a lesser side, but won't control a match when the team your against is just as good. Personal view again, but that's what Burrow is...of the back of a strong pack, his size, pace and personal tricks make him a quality player, but if his side is in trouble, would he be able to keep you in touch with an intelligent kicking game say? Same with Eastmond. Pains me to admit it, salford are not a great side, but what Myler is actuallly 'learning' with us is how to play when you don't just roll over the opposition and how to keep control even when your not on top - and those are skills needed internationally against the Aussies/Kiwis'" I agree with lots of this. Myler is looking a classic scrum half. Burrow ain't a classic scrum half. Does that make Myler a better player than Burrow? Not yet IMO but plenty more potential. |

No sorry, wrong again (you're good at getting things wrong aren't you?), I have supported Leeds for the last 20 years, the fact that I also enjoy watching (without the idiots that Leeds attract) my local club seems to bother you.
Maybe thats why the the lower leagues scratch around to keep afloat.

Strange having the kid out on loan. The times ive seen him on tv he has looked pure quality. But Hudds are doing the business without him and when he does join the squad Hudds will be hard to beat if they keep this up. |

Apparently he wants to finish his studies this year in 'Haven before going to Hudds. He's played ok against us (Leigh) last 2 years but when i went watching Fax v Haven in playoffs last year (After we were knocked out  ) he absolutely ran the game. Fax couldn't handle him and i think he scored 2 or 3 tries too! Looks a VERY good prospect!! |
