Great result again, joint top with Charlton who also have won 5 from 5. Only 3 goals conceded in league game and they are a free kick and two penalties. Marques has given both penalties away but apart from that where flying , Naylor could be back next week as Kisnorbo is away with the Aussies and hopefully we sign Bromby and Taylor before tuesday. Beckford with the winner once again, roll on tuesday when the transfer window shuts and he stays.

Maybe we told him he wouldn't be first choice anyway. Bradley Johnson is looking the full part at the moment. We're using him like we used to use Gary Speed in the 90's, aim all the goal kicks down the left wing, he is winning pretty much everything in the air, including a couple of goals. Have to say I didn't rate him when he came back last season, but fair play to the lad, he's proving me wrong.

Snodgrass has started the season slowly IMO but sttill contributes assists and a couple of cracking goals against Watford look to have kick started his season. Get Naylor back in for Rui and we're in business IMO.

Garry Mac made the Speed comparison about Johnson and played him every game after he arrived. Looked ropey at LB but other than that looked decent. Not sure what happened afterwards that he didn't get a look in.

Sometimes you don't know what happens off the field - though there were a few rumours IIRC. Similar with Robbo - seems to have bags of talent but can't cement a place in the side. Guessing his issues may be fitness/fuelling related though.

Think Bradley Johnson and Robert Snodgrass have been the stand out players so far this season, obviously Beckford has to be involved in that also because of the times hes saved us.

Looking forward to the Liverpool game, the game may be Wednesday 23rd and on Sky!

According to the news ticker on SSN leigh bromby has joined on a 4yr deal but there's nothing on the club web-site.
