Yes he was an animal when at the Roosters I actually think the harsh penalties last year diluted his natural game and he became disillusioned now the ref are a bit more relaxed around contact he's coming good again but still a shadow of the Roosters version of him.

So it turns out that he is free to negotiate contracts for 2024 and could be back in SL without Leeds getting any financial recompense even though he was originaly contracted till the end of '24

The Sleeve will not have let him go without some kind of Gentlemen's agreement with GC/Holbrook.

We also had the Greg Eastwood saga when he couldn't initially come over to fulfil his contract for some minor conviction (Was it a driving offense?) and had a season at the Bulldogs,before joining us and then signed for the Bulldogs due to home sickness (after being bottled in the head whilst out in Halifax)

Eastwood was superb when he managed to play for us. He could have become a Leeds legend if he'd have fulfilled his contract.

Looking tidy for the Gold Coast this morning, though clearly not overplaying which seems to be the key for him.

Yep, he looked right at home for the Titans. His passing was pretty crisp and he looked like he could be lively when running. His defence wasn't really tested and he wasn't trying to make too many decisions. Tougher tests to come, but best of luck to him.

Scored his first GCT try against Brisbane.

GCT were winning comfortably after 39 minutes, but have made so many dumb errors that have allowed Brisbane to take control.

What surprises me watching NRL over the last few years is how bang average the majority of the halves are.

...and Luke Brooks is considered one of the worst in terms of value for money.

Thought they were unlucky with some of the refereeing decisions mind.

to often takes the wrong option with regards pass selection and which side to attack though.
when he is good he is very good. inconsistent. although he was in a poor side for a lot of the time

Most of us were not disappointed to loose him….

He brings an attacking threat but more on an individual level than by linking well with runners. Maybe Peet's the coach who'll bring the best out of him which I don't think any other's have managed to yet. He must have a very clear vision of the role he wants him to play to be giving a four year deal.
