Pack have laid a good foundation. Big Ava, Prior and Mikolaj strong and Rhyse Martin best game for a long time. They have given Leeming space to play and hes took advantage.

On the team selection, didn't they say there was a late change to the team? So I don't think they intended for Luke Briscoe to be in the side.

Playing with plenty of energy, good to see Ava doing decent minutes.

Good performance tonight hopefully we can continue with consistency now, hopefully no more covid cases for us and other teams. Our pack is starting to look balanced and laying a platform for our halves and outside backs to shine. Seumanufangai put in a really good stint after struggling last week. Newman took his try well great feet and reminds me of when Watkins first came through with his stepping ability. Hopefully we can get all the way in cup and maybe bring some silverware back to Headingley.

All joking aside, I didn’t expect that but I think the game plan was clearly to get out of the blocks quick with all the big men on and it worked a treat.

Long way to go but it seems we are getting to grips with the new style of play following the break.

When forwards run hard and tackle hard it really makes a difference. Thought young Tommy H went well when he came on.

Maybe I'm biased, but I really don't think the sin bin against Ava was that bad.

Kruise really showed what he is worth tonight, Richie Myler showed his value for probably rest of his career. Man of the match for me. Liam Sutcliffe was good for me too, would be a miss if he does leave for utility
Value alone but personally I’d have him in the centres over Hurrell currently.

I thought we were very very good tonight , i still dont agree witj L.Briscoe on the bench over another forward granted last night it worked. I thought our pack ran strong Newman was my M.O.M

Thought lui improved on recent performances.

Maybe one of the backs went in under a cloud i dont know. Handley departed at HT with hamstring injury so maybe he was a slight risk going in hence Briscoe being put on the bench.

Hull KR were gash, but our attitude was right. Agree Liam Sutcliffe was solid and Rhyse best game. Tommy needs to protect the ball better. Can't keep giving him 1st carry if the ball is going to shoot out.

So was Cuthbo the late withdrawal?

Good win against an inform team. Forwards were excellent and Newman along with a Leeming had their best game of the season for me.
