Its great to look back on the history etc but yeah, its very grating and the adverts for merch have begun again trying push the unsold tripe weve been lumbered with from Oxen. Things are returning to normality I guess.

So should the club just stop publishing any content and engage with old and new supporters, should it not try and sell merch just because weve lost some games?

It's come to something when a 30 second clip of Leeds scoring a try triggers some of our fans.

It would be better though if the club reached out to the Fans more as we are losing supporters who have supported the club for years ( not just the Golden years ) and the lack of new supporters and youngsters coming to the home games is a long term worry .
Our away support is dreadful and that is all down to G.H

How do you know its all down to Hetherington? You dont think the cost of living crisis has anything to do with it, or the product on the pitch, its just GH's fault?

Its all about consistency, the more content you pump out the more likely someone is going to see something they want to engage with, for example, like reply or share, this will then show up on other peoples time lines, and reach new audiences with the potential to grow the Rhinos brand.

Now now mate, no need for that. Just saying how it makes me feel. It's a bit tone deaf imo and i'm fed up of it. This decline has gone on too long. I've been going to games for nearly 40 years so i have a right to be peed off.

I do actually think Rhinos social media is good on the whole and one of the best in SL

But why is it tone deaf though? I cannot understand why they shouldnt be posting on social media because weve lost some games and the season isnt going as supporters and the club hoped.
I really like the try of the day videos, its nostalgia and brings back good memories.

If other clubs did it and we didnt supporters would moan that our social media isnt good enough and the club arent putting enough effort in.

In some peoples eyes the club just cannot do anything right.

It's not that we have 'just lost some games'.... the loss against Wakefield and Cas were absolutely shocking and up there with the most embarrassing of the last 15 years. Quite rightly many fans are fuming about it and just where we are currently as a team. It's simply not good enough and it keeps happening and happening. I think videos like that, at this certain period aren't great.. many fans are raging.

Anyway, that's in my opinion and some others on here. There's no wrong or wright. Move on.

I was annoyed at the time but probably after an hour after the game i had moved on with my life and left those feelings there.

After tonight its obvious where we go - get rid of the useless trainee coach we have at the moment , and bring in the Master - Uncle Tony !!!!

I honestly feel like Leeds is turning into a big corparate money machine. Can't remember the last time Garry got us a star player or big coach that impressed people. My opinion on the reason why is that all he cares about is money and not about the rugby team on the pitch, every single week it feels like we release a new merch line that people buy, we average the highest home attendance in super league consistently, really sponsor friendly atm with ooohhh look at us we have a womens team, disabled team, netball team ect. what an inclusive and family friendly club. We clearly have a good cash inflow, GH is filling his pockets quite nicely as he runs the club well off the pitch and is able to make money regardless of performances. If he has lost passion or enjoyment for the game ( not a stretch at all for someone 68/69 who has been involved in rugby for so long ) then why should he invest in the team if supporters still buy tickets, merch and food/drink. We arent bad enough to get relegated either.

This idea is of course all speculation from myself but to be honest it has become a genuine concern for me recently with how the club is being run. Ownership genuinely seems not to care that we are average and I fear us turning into another Hull FC, fairly big club that sits in mid table and does nothing.

If any hopes of play off were slim there all but mathematically done now.

At least 6-7 players just not good enough, and no sign of any quality players coming in.
Very very concerning and no sign that we can be a force for a long while yet.

The only hope is that the standard of the League is so poor , it eventually reaches down to our level
