Going up York Road on the bus, I passed The Hope Inn. It flies an LUFC flag, so no prizes for guessing where thier allegiance lies, but behind the pub there is a small warehouse with 'LEEDS UNITED AFC' on the side. Does anyone know what this is used for?

I might be wrong but I seem to recall that it was used in the 1990s for storing Frank Strandli and Thomas Brolin's pies.

Also it says that Beckford's offer is still on the table. If true, thats a disgrace. He should have been given an improved offer from this time last year, as he's shown to be a proven consistent gaol scorer for 3 years now

I cant believe they've offered Hughes a new deal. The guy looks average at best in League One and he's only gonna be even worse in the Championship. He's coming to the end of his career, he's slow, he's versatile and that's why Larry will of kept him but he's $hit in every position he can play. We need 2 new full backs and Bromby and Parker can cover injuries.

Whilst I'd agree with your assessment and am surprised he hasn't been released, I'd assume he's a decent guy to have around the place in terms of team spirit, attitude and influence; and as a player you can have on the bench as emergency cover for full backs or midfield he's cheap and provides some continuity during a period where there could be quite a few ins and outs.
