Not strong enough IMO - I don't think I've seen a referee with such poor rapport with the players since the days of John Holdsworth and Robin "Look at Me" Whitfield.

I thought he had a decent game when we played Crusaders, although his call on the Tansey try was a little controversial.

One thing is for sure, when he referees it's a quick, clean ruck or else.

Looks like we will be a bit light in the back row - no Louis Anderson or Ben Harrison who are both first choice tarting players. Although there is a chance Richie Myler will return which would help.

It's odd how Kirke never gets rotated out. Kirke over Burgess a real headscratcher for this sort of game.

Pretty clear that it'll be Hauraki and Pitts out of the 17 if all fit. Extra second-rows in the squad in case Webb out & Smith to FB, Ablett to centre, or McGuire out as well & JJB to loose.

I'd have said Ablett to centre, especially if Webb doesn't make the 17.

Surley burgess offers much more of the bench in impact than Kirke and Bailey? Maybe put together going forward.

Kirke obviously has some hoodoo over somebody at Headingley.....there can be no other explanation.
From that squad Hauraki and Kirke should miss out; Smith to RC (better there than LC) and Delaney at LC. Hardaker should definitely keep his place ...

My guess is the gameplan will be to try keeping it up the middle....we certainly have not got the pace to go around Warrington.

Even some of the decrepid, wheezy looking touch judges we have at SL level will probably be faster than a most of our backs.
