I say good luck to the lad. He was unfortunate with his injuries but IMO was one of our best forwards if not [uthe[/u best forward this year who always gave his best. He was our best at go forward and put in some great hits and off loads and really stepped up to the plate as a prop late in the season.

Had he not been injured he may well have settled into the side without the home sickness problem but being on the sidelines for so long would have put him on the finges of the side and would have given him too much time to dwell on missing his home, family and friends. Our loss is the Dogs gain and we do well to replace anything like his class.

Excellent recruitment... he'll only be 32.

No, I'm not particularly impressed with signing Cross. Is anyone? If he is Leeds' idea of 'first choice' in the recruitment stakes then we as a club have huge issues. Which is why I suggest that's Hetherington's spin. The truth is more likely to be that we found ourselves in need of a front rower at short notice, and Cross was available.
