He's been poor so far this season. Think people forget that he's been in the dream team for 2 seasons. Get a half back playing 6 and I reckon he could get back to near best. Give him a 1 year with an option for the club for a second.

I think he was extremely lucky to be picked in the dream team on either year.

He is a likeable guy but he makes too many errors and misses too many tackles. He is also extremely unfit and appears to take a knock every time he takes the ball in. He always seems to be walking back into position.

I am not sure he does enough positive to substantially outweigh his limitations. Given he is playing for a contract, I would have expected him to have got into better shape during the offseason, however, he is not professional like a Sinfield, Gale, Newman is.

Not on recent performances. He needs to improve if we are to offer him a deal which should be on much reduced terms. Our priority should be to bring in top 6.Centre is a position where we are well covered.

Time for him to leave. We have the centre's now. His job is done. He can play elsewhere from the end of the year and hopefully the club agree.

Whilst we have depth at centre I don't think we have that ability to bust the line without Hurrell. He does make mistakes but he's also our biggest threat. Rocks and diamonds I'm afraid. Difficult decision for the management.

Our young centres are nowhere near Hurrel's level when he is on form yet. Think we need to keep him, as is great to watch sometimes too. Reduced terms will be tricky as may be other clubs willing to pay more........ Let's see...

A lot may depend on how Harry comes back.He is a very good strike player.Broadbent we haven't seen at centre for a run of games.If we Harry does come good again i wouldnt be overly concerned going into next season with a good 6 and those 3 centres.

As weve seen this year because of injury/form having just two good centres is not enough, if he will accept a reduced contract hes worth keeping

I'd rather have George Williams as 2nd marquee player than Hurrell. We've got Newman and Liam Sutcliffe for centres next season, plus Broadbent. Alex Sutcliffe should be resigned too. Thanks for the memories Konrad, but if he doesn't accept a non marquee contract, then he can sign for promoted Championship team.

A Sutcliffe will be a Cas player and Agar has said we’ve little chance of signing Williams. I wouldn’t be re signing Hurrell on Marquee wages but would on reduced terms, I doubt the club see him as marquee either which is why he hasn’t resigned as yet.

Newman's situation will actually help Hurrel's negotiation!

George Williams would be great but it isn’t going to happen. Due to his background he only takes up £75k of Wigan’s cap and they will sort this year one way or another. Next year they don’t really have a problem. As for us as much as I like Harrell he’s o longer quality and cannot defend. It’s time to move on. Trueman is an option or a quality overseas player from down under………. I do not know who but that’s the clubs responsibility. As for centres we have a group of young players who will improve. We need to stick with them as they learn their trade. As for fullback it depends on how the club view Walkers progress. He’s always been injury prone due to his size and the way he plays so we need cover. Personally I believe Sutty can do a job there albeit many will disagree. Also need cover at 7 unless Mclelland fills that gap moving forward. Forwards look good but must depend on who stays at year end and obvious issues with hookers.

I didn't mind Sutcliffe as replacement full back, but that was before Myler. Centre looks his best position now, so yeah, we shouldn't need Hurrell when Newman is back.

Don't think Sutty is a full back for the same reasons he's not a half. Good pair of hands and timing of a pass so important in that role, not to mention pace. He's a centre or bust for me. Will be interesting to see him at centre because it's about time the club and the player found out how good he is in preferred position. Far from convinced to be honest, but I know a lot will disagree.
