Same old , yes we will turn it round attitude that was evident after the first few games , well we have not and with the half backs we have we will not . An uncomfortable win against the only team with worse players than us hardly augurs well and we have to play them on plastic yet .Sign Hastings and you may see a turnaround to some extent

Lolohea wasn't even at the game at Magic Weekend, how much team spirit can one man lack?

Well I've heard Lolohea has appalling attitude from someone who knows James Lowes well.

Just grabbed a quote for Tui's Wiki. Lolohea said of his move from the Warriors, "I was overweight. I was unhappy. I was struggling. Playing reserve grade on the wing probably didn't help."

Well apparently playing first team in the position you want doesn't help either.

He must have appalling attitude to believe it is fine to turn up to the Rhinos in such a vastly overweight condition: he probably thinks it is fine to obtain a large pay cheque whilst being the fattest player in SL when he isn't even a prop.

If his attitude stinks as well then he should be sacked immediately. Surely it is a sackable offence to be four stone overweight when you are allegedly a professional athlete playing at half back: he isn't performing at a reasonable level relative to his pay packet.

If it's Lolohea then enough for 2 teams he's fat,slow and cowardly (jumping out of the way of someone running towards the line, letting the ball bounce instead of catching it etc etc etc) bin him off, keep him away from the other players the bloke is toxic.

I bet Hetherington is relieved he consulted this board for expertise when drawing up the contracts with marquee players.

Hull can beat anyone (as recently shown against Wire) but have odd days when they just roll over.

If it's not one of those days at Headingley they'll win without a problem.

Lolohea is not a marquee player. Hurrell and Merrin are.

Hmm it depends if Holroyd has recovered from the knock in the academy game, but yes maybe him and Albert replacing Peteru and Oledski - I think the lad needs a rest at this stage.

Brings to my mind the saying about it being difficult to polish something....its seriously depressing when you look at the players and the performances they've put out. Its not as if we can point to a whole bunch of star players missing to explain things. We've signed half a dozen players this year including 2 marquee ones, and yet that squad looks rubbish even on paper.

It looks rubbish because we are seeing how they are playing, which to be frank is rubbish. On paper, it isn't as bad, and to an oppossition fan it wouldn't be bad. If you started the season again, not knowing how poor we are, and compared that squad to other squads on paper, you would be backing us every time.

But as you say, the fact is they are playing rubbish, and without the good players to hide the lesser ones, it's a problem.

Other teams who we used to think we should be beating always raise their game against us . We now have reached that level where we are one of those lower clubs who rely on effort and team spirit when playing against a team better than us on paper. I've yet to see that from Leeds ,just once if I thought they had shown effort and team spirit for 80 minutes I would walk out thinking at last we are making progress
