I will be sorry to see him go if it is true.Despite letting himself get drawn into silly nonsense at times, For me, Ryan has always performed to a high level in the big games and rarely lets us down.We have nobody else who brings what he does to the table.Ok, he might not be the enforcer on the scale of a Barrie Mac who went before him but i think having somebody on your team who riles the opposition and gets under their skin can be a great asset, never more proved than in the last Grand Final against the Wire.

In a way though,i kind of would like him to go to the NRL so he can resume his battles with the ginger ninja!

It can be a useful asset, but it's only a supplementary asset, something on the side. Bailey offers little else.

you are of course entitled to your opinions but to call yourself a leeds fan (i am assuming you are) and to talk so dissmisively about a player who has given a decade of sterling service to the club is quite baffling TBH.

i am not proclaiming Bailey to be a superstar forward but when he knuckles down and does his job as a prop forward should which is making the hard yards and being solid in defence i believe he has done this.I presume this is also the thinking of the several coaches who have been in charge during Ryan's time at the club as he has always figured in the 17 in the big games , so for a player who brings nothing to the table how can this be.?

As i say, a true Leeds fan would show some respect and wish him well if he is going to take the challenge of going to the NRL, and thank him for his efforts over a decade of silverware laiden years.

Agree BT whatever his faults or what opinions are of him in general he's done a good job for us overall and when on song has a tremendous work ethic and brings more good things to the team than bad imho.
